The HPD in this video is still way too light it will become +- 80kg heavier because iracing misinterpreted the rules.

Theres plenty of Rfactor mods arround with just as good physics (some better) as Iracing.

Rfactor 2 to be released soon. Then Iracing physics will be stoneage tech ;)

@PolariceSwiss Perhaps "stoneage tech" is a exaggeration. And its not about the subscription for me. I can easy afford it. And as i said, its a good simulator. But its not as good as you make it sound like. If you do want to make the debate about money, then i could make the claim, that people who "invested" in the game HAS to like it for that fact allone. For a huge GT car fan as myself, its just not good enough to race single makes all the time. Lacerscanned tracks dosn't make up for that.

@gnotmardor look u musnt pay if you dont want, normally ppl like me start with a 1 month subsc to try it, maybe you didnt try another cars, im with the Skip Barber Series, Star Mazda Series and Grand AM (corvette my pref, ford gt and HPD), once you find the serie you like than you can keep further and have an amazing experience with very strong and clean drivers, I started to play it with a quad core, now I own an I7 just for simulator, that might not be perfect but its amazing 1/2

You speak to me as if i havent really used Iracing. Ive played it long enough to be able to compete in all the low league series up to Mazda and grand am series. Yes its boring because its SINGLE make and short races. As in only 1 type of car on the track. And thats not good enough for a LMS/ALMS fan as myself.

@PolariceSwiss I havent boycotting the game. I told you twice that Iracing is a good simulator. What i DO say is that its not the best at everything as you try to make it look like. If its a demo for Rfactor 2 your asking for, i cant give you one. The first files are released, but the open beta goes live just after newyear (you need to buy the game to play the beta). As for Rfactor 1, no other game comes close when it comes to LMS/ALMS cars. IF you pick the right mods.

As Rfactor allone shipped with very few cars, its HIGHLY recommended to installe the "Real feel" plugin (google it for download). Theres a guide on enduracers webpage on how to set the real feel values for the enduracers mod.

@PolariceSwiss Its very nice, u were right, but u cant ever compare it with Iracing, It has good physics but the tyre model suck its like driving with bike's tyres, the tracks are very poor, buildings like cutted on paint, the car look very nice but, it doesnt have real texture, shadows, the sound is very poor, but from 1 to 10 u get an 7 while Iracing is a 9, I can make u some videos, with same tracks (suzuka) same car (HPD) and u will understand why Iracing is the best.

In regards to sounds. I havent heard a single car in iracing with as good sounds as the enduracers mod. Perhaps you have done something wrong...I dont know.

Graphics are not state of the art, but still quite good. Hence why i said Rfactor 2 will beat everything else on that part aswell :)

We all have different ideas of whats realistic or not. In the end they are all computergames :)

@PolariceSwiss But iracing cant deliver what Rfactor and as an example the enduracers mod. Take the race i will be in. A 20 hour event with 40+ cars and between 2-4 drivers on each car. The game supports online driver swap and will simulate day and night time racing. The only thing missing is random weather, but that will be in Rfactor 2 :)

That's not really not unrealistic, especially not for a thoroughbred car. My dinky little MX5 can do a SIMILAR corner to turn 2 at about 60mph (100kph) based on GPS data on the day. The braking and turning in this video are still nothing outstanding compared to the F1. In summary, it's accurate to a good degree, certainly not sensationalist.
