I just thought it'd defuse the haters before they start. Of course that won't stop the Phelps kids, with their phrases like "fag enabler" etc., but then, those people need to up their antipsychotics anyway. :)

Hi Henrik, I love Rachel Maddow and listen to her podcast every morning on my way to work. I find her to be wittier, more well informed, and more sensible than other political commentators. She exudes confidence, but is not egotistic as she is quick to make corrections and issue apologies when wrong. Ray

Exactly, Ray. Rachel seems to be the kind of person that I would like to have a good conversation with over lunch. Of course, I'd leave the alcohol to her (since I can't drink), but coffee on my end could be doable.

I love Rachel. She's so smart, quick witted and just plain funny. Somehow I think with a friend like her, you'd feel safe, secure and cared about. We watch her every night in our house. Great quote.

I love her too. The best part of her, I think, is that she's not hair-tearingly mad like a lot of her opposition; if she's mad at somebody, she simply says "that person will never be invited on this show", instead of smearing it all over the press like, oh I dunno-- Billo Reilly. :)

No kidding - her bias is clear but her facts check out and she's so brilliantly witty. And yeah, you pretty much nailed a large part of what we love about her. Additionally, she actually listens to her followers and makes adjustments to the program based on what people want. For example was the 'talk me down' segment. It was so bad and she toned it way back. awesome. It's nice to find another fan! Goodnight.
