@Joshi991: Thanks Josh. You are probably right. I'm hoping it will help someone who has had trouble with a certain part. I know it helps me a lot to look at other people playing. I've gotten way better though. I may update the video with better sound and better playing.

@yodeheyvavhey I know what you mean about how watching other people playing helps you to learn, I do the same thing :) I was hoping that this was a lesson so that I could learn it the right way rather than learn it by ear and maybe make some mistakes... I guess I'll have to use tabs or maybe try to work out the chords and notes you play (but that seems to take a while!). May I ask where you learnt it from?

I'm sure when I have learnt it your video will come in handy with the timing.

Hey that was a great lesson. The recording part will come as you do it more I know I'm still having recording problems too LOL

Could you let me know what that little transition is around 12 seconds between the main riff/ Can't quite catch it it is so fast. I have most of the song down except for that part. I just subed and FR'd you and sent my humble video response.

@camlpg I'm afraid I wouldn't be a very good teacher yet. I also have not mastered any Van Halen songs as much as I would like to learn a few. I hope to post about 50 songs I can play once I figure out how to do a better recording for youtube.

I finally figure out what song you were talking about. I'm sorry. I was thinking Hot for Teacher. Of course you were talking about Teacher Teacher by 38 Special. I'm sorry I haven't tried to play it, but I'm sure it's not too hard. I can play So Caught Up In You pretty decently though. I love the short little solo in it.

That is very kind of you. It never fails. I can play much better when nobody is watching or I'm not trying to do well for the camera. Oh well. It's fun to try to learn songs I've loved all my life.
