Breaking Bonaduce, breaking the destructive cycles

I know a person who drinks excessively and then drives...no one who knows him stops him...I've tried to tell him he shouldn't get drunk then drive,but he's never crashed or gotten caught by the police,should I wait till he does crash and kill an innocent someone or ones to allow him to experience the connection between his actions and the consequences as you say

@SearchForTomorrow try to stop him somehow , I almost killed someone cause i was drunk and driving , i actually got away with driving extremely drunk many times maybe hundreds of times and making it home safely and not even remembering driving anywhere, but i have 2 totaled cars and almost a dead victim , think creativly how u can stop him some way some how
