i wanna see every mgs ever made, startin from its days on the msx, remade to next gen standards, and sold (along with mgs 4 maybe) on the next gens as one big mgs uber collection boxset!!! if you agree, then copy and paste this comment everywhere there are mgs fans, and spread the word, and maybe we can make it happen!!! for mgs fans everywhere!!!!
BTW, just curious about one thing. In the original version of Metal Gear Solid (the PSX version), when Snake realized that Baker was talking about bribes when he mentioned the definition of a Black Project, Baker said that he should call it "good business." However, in The Twin Snakes, this seemed to be changed to the "Military-Industrial Complex." I wonder what the reason for the change was.
Can anybody help explain to me why the two presidents of the company's in charge of the facility only have a level one and lvl two access key instead of the top access keys??? (I mean i understand it game play wise but does it ever give a real reason???)
Remember when the Gaurd told snake that he wasn't a rookie, but a 10-year veteran and snake replies,"How the hell did you survive 10 years? Johnny Sasaki was introduced in the first Metal Gear Solid. After snake kills Decoy Octopus disguising as the DARPA chief, there was commotion in the next cell. Meryl beats up the guard and breaks out. That gaurd was Johnny (Akiba).
He's right, that why at the end of act 3 in MGS4 they made a big deal of Akiba unveiling his mask. He looked like a young snake, and if you've followed MSG1's plot you would know that thats because he's a genome solider. Further evidence would be that Johney has the shits in both MSG1 and MSG4, all deliberate clues :)
Are you completely sure about that? I doubt his facial features had anything to do with being a Genome Soldier (In fact, it's heavily suggested that he wasn't one, but was brainwashed in the Novel.).
Also, I looked at the photo of the Sasakis that Johnny's grandpa gave Naked Snake, and his facial features looked quite similar, and the Genome project didn't even exist as an idea back then.
Man, I wish I could debate that, but seriously, it's been so long since I made that comment, that I seriously don't remember all those small details of mgs3 or mgs 1. But there alot of links hinting that johney from mgs1 and mgs4. The closing credits and the diarearre been the most obvious?
To answer the question about his grandpa, he appears shortly after the Volgin torture scene. he brings you food. When he does, throw food back to him three times. After you do that, you then see a cutscene that reveals that the guard is actually Johnny's grandpa.
Also, I saw the credits for the Twn Snakes, but the credits just showed the alaskan wilderness and the various animals.
@Morrisonii and mgs3, if u use th mic when listening 2 ocelot in shell a, point it 2 the left in the direction of the stage, n u can hear johnny in the loo there aswell.

No she's not. The rookie is Akiba (Johnny Sasaki).

Akiba is not a rookie either.

At the beginning he was. He forgot to turn off his safety. And he couldn't keep up with his squad.

Where in MGS 3 did Johney's Grandad appear?
