I need help, im trying to port forward my minecraft server and I do every thing correctly but people outside my LAN can't connect!

DONT YOU NEED TO DO THAT FOR INBOUND AND OUTBOUND SERVICES AND NOT JUST THE ONE YOU DONE WHICH IF I REMEMBER YOU DONE INBOUND ????

@calumc604 ITS OKAY if you have SKY you cant do it with just inbound you need to use outbound as well or else it comes up as an error still dont know if ill get in games or not though

@iemu2 you may need a seperate ip address for your ps3 or xbox 192.168.0.1 or .1.1 is the router itself put in like 192.168.0.7

i have WNR2000 netgear router and some of the settings are different for example where yours says service mine says block service thats where all the confusion begins with me.

hey thanks for the video but the port 3658 is being used by the UPnP Portmap Table ad it wont let me use it for the PS3, so is there another port number to use, or how do i change it so port 3658 is open??

Thanks bro, good video. My ps3 never had issues online till just recently after 3 years of use online. Im going to try this since I just changed my set up and now have two pc's and my ps3 running off the netgear router.

Hope this fixes my network crashing. Will post up another response if it does.

You have to go to Advanced<Port Forwarding / Port Triggering then go to click Add Custom Service and then start using his steps... hope that helps
