  • THE ROMANS ONLY HAD A CROSS IN THOSE DAYS

  • William Robert West have a good book in this topic. See Google

  • The classic book for this section:

Le Roy Edwin From: The conditionalist faith of our fathers

I am not agree with adventists in many topics, in special with their neo-modalism but is a good book.

Good also> Edward William Fudge: The fire that consumes

  • If you read the verses before and after exodus22:2 you understand what it's really saying, if a thief breaks in the dark and you kill him by accident there is no blood guilt, but if it is in day or there is light shining on him, and you kill him there is blood guilt if its done deliberately, also Jesus says to be imitators of him, and Jesus said he is no part of this world, he was neutral and would never kill anyone or go to war, the scriptures being used in the video are being used in ignorance

  • this is some bull shit...america is the habitation of devils and pure wickedness and needs and will be destroyed very soon by thermal nuclear war. thus sayth the Lord.

the Most High will show ya'll some terror

  • ah yes, scare tactics. the last resort of pathetic man made beliefs. BE SCARED OF ME OR ELSE!!! so laughable, you truly are pathetic and a sheeple. grow a spine.

JESUS ISNT REAL THE BIBLE IS A LIE!!

  • well the bible isn't for edomites anyway so ofcoarse u'd say that. how can a child of satan believe in GOD or the bible? its not in your dna to believe.

your kind is suppose to be prideful and fearless. I'm very please with your comment it proves your in your right state of mind.

i'll be sure to laugh when millions of people like you die.

    thanks

  • if this "proportianality" thing was even remotley enforced, the USA would have used "equal amount of force waged against the enemy."

equal or less force does not mean invading a country & occupying it since 2002 to "supposedly" rid it of "terrorism"..when in fact its nothing more than personal gain of a government and egoism.

stop watching the news, they only tell u wat they want u to think.

im not religious and even i know that.

  • newtothetruth,

I am unaware of any other religious group that relied on demons to translate their so called bible, the new world translation. Please, newtothetruth, do your homework on jws and their sordid past! Think about, if I had mentioned to you that I used a bible translation that I used and relied on demons to help me translate it, honestly what would you have said? Yet, jws used a clairvoyant's translation of the bible to justify their perversion of John 1:1.

  • Hi legalrule :) I just wanted to mention that the Book of Mormon also was translated by spiritistic means (Joseph Smith placed a 'seer stone' in a hat and placed the hat over his face to receive the translation.) I am not a JW, btw...

  • newtothetruth,

Have you ever read the Bible? If you would have gone to Bible college you would know that Jesus did the very thing you agrue against! Jesus spent most of his time teaching, answering and confronting the teachings of the rabbis and religious leaders of his time! His preaching was also a method of addressing the religious issues confronting their society at that time in history.

One thing is to be persecuted for righteousness and another for teaching satanic theology.

  • Your arguments for war are brittle and offensive. Jesus preached peace and love. Jesus, Gandhi, Dr King, try to do good, they'll kill ya.

  • 2 Tim 3:12-13(KJV) 12."Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution 13. But evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." Now, my question for you. Look anywhere on the internet, newspapers, or other source and tell me who receives the kind of "persecution" for their beliefs as do the witnesses.

  • They are no part of this world just as Jesus was no part of this world. Which you've already quoted. Think about it, do you honestly think if Jesus was here today he would spend....

  • any of His time giving a class on how to respond to other teachings? NO! His time was spent preaching the truth about His Father Jehovah's Kingdom. Just as the witnesses do. THINK ABOUT IT!!

  • Lots of Christians die daily for Jesus.

  • I encourage you to visit 4witness dot org and read our article on War and Neutrality as it examines JW teaching in more depth. Click on the JW Topics Link "War and Neutrality" on the website to view the article.

  • The reasons to go to war stated are not bible based. "Thomas Aquinas came up with this idea" Why dont you just say "Tass Russell came up with this idea" I thought the idea was to look to the bible, not some guy named Thomas. The thought of a true Chritian killing his fellow man is one of organized religions biggest blunders. In the bible Gods people faught HIS wars against unbelievers. I would have a hard time thinking that God takes sides of the war today. Wars are national, not Gods

  • You bring up Hitler and the Jews and witnesses. "the witnesses were correct in not to join Hitler" You dont think there were "christians" in Hitlers army killing Allied "christians" and vice versa? So both of those were justified according to this Thomas fella? You are loosing credibility just as the JWs have done with such statements. I would imagine John 13 was speaking about dying for your friends because of religious prosecution, not in a firefight during a national war

  • 1898 "Notice that there is no command in the Scriptures against military service" (Watchtower, Aug. 1, 1898, pg. 231).

1903 "There could be nothing against our conscience in going into the army. Wherever we would go we could take the Lord with us, the Captain of our salvation, and wherever we would go we could find opportunities to serve him and his cause" (THE WATCHTOWER, April 15, 1903, pg. 120).

  • if the jehovahs wittness do not go to war they are only following what the early church taught on Military service and Yeshua teachings...

  • He tells Peter that he who lives by the sword will die by the sword. Tertullian and many Church fathers saw this as a model for all Christians—that none are given the right to pick up the sword. check your church history lady

  • Yeshua followers are under a new covenant.. and that new covenant forbids christians to engage in war... of any kind.. Tertullian, in the early third century A.D. makes this statement... For even if soldiers came to John and received advice on how to act, and even if a centurion became a believer, the Lord, in subsequently disarming Peter, disarmed every soldier.....

  • only apostate christain would fight in a war.... simple as that...

  • ." Clement of Alexandria wrote "...he who holds the sword must cast it away and that if one of the faithful becomes a soldier he must be rejected by the Church, for he has scorned God."

  • The early church (the first 300 years) was strongly pacifist. Origen said that Christians "do not go forth as soldiers...". Tertullian wrote "only without the sword can the Christian wage war: for the Lord has abolished the sword.. ." Clement of Alexandria wrote "...he who holds the sword must cast it away and that if one of the faithful becomes a soldier he must be rejected by the Church, for he has scorned God."

  • what is the women on? lol dont she read church history the early christain church was pacifest.. read the early fathers on war ... they were totally against war and Military service... jesus said not to take the sword.. to love there enemies.. etc
