As i have explained several times............I took creativie license with it. Who cares who it was written for? It's a beautiful sonnet and could be used for both genders. Just enjoy the sonnet.
is beautiful! I congratulate you on your creative sensibility, your video natural flows like water from a stream down the mountain during primavera.gracias
yeah shakespheres deep....this is a great love poem.... he saying her love is like a summer .. but he wants to compare her to something thats will last foreva ... he said as long as he loves her she will saty alive ... wow i love shakesphere and im only 13
lol it was great and i got into another play called hello dolly and i'm one of the waiters omg !!! lol if you don't know but the waiters they have to give a big dance of stuff and i'm in every single thing lol
I like your video. i am trying to write my project on it. it kinda helps me but i think i need help understanding it a little bit more. i thought at the beginning he was talking about a hot girl and then the his part is like god b/c the heaven but its good to know that. Thanks for helping me! Kudos on your project!
Thank you I am glad that you like it. The sonnet is believed to be written to a male that he admired but I like it better with the girl. What Shakespeare is saying is that we all grow old and all beauty fades, but that his lover's beauty will live on in the sonnet. This gives life to thee. Hope that helps some.
Wow, it is great. I love it. However, was the sonnet really written by Shakespeare to his male lover and not his female lover? Please help me to clear the doubt. thanks.
I've seen this video many times. I have always marveled at the fact that you are even more talented than meets the eye. This certainly proves it. We need to make more of these.. *hint hint*
Very good job with this video - the animation runs smoothly and the photos you used with the 3D stuff really flow well. I hope you do more videos of this sort. If you're taking requests, there are a few soliloquies in Hamlet that I think you could do very well with!
this is great. however, sonnet 18 is about a man. you probably should have checked that out. or maybe read the line "and often HIS.... dimmed". please dont think im trying to destroy your work though. its really well done. and definately a favourite.
I knew it was about a man, but I wanted it to be about a woman. I just took a bit of creative license with it. But I am glad that you know Shakespeare and I am very happy that you enjoyed it! Thank you.

may i ask? how did u get the voice? normal voice with edits?
sadfreak4ever 3 years ago
I recorded the actor's voice and just cut and spaced it as needed. The voice itself was not altered but the pacing of the words was altered slightly.
Is that what you meant?

yea yea.. ok thx

It is believed to be about a male lover. However, I took creative license with it since the words lend themself to being about anyone.

yeah. i love shakspeares work. im sorry btw, my original comment seems abit cocky on second reading. great video! keep up the good work!

The "his" in that line refers to the sun, not the poet's lover.
"Sometime too hot the eye of heaven (the sun) shines, and often is his (the sun's) gold complexion dimmed"
JMAG117 2 years ago
you're right, however, Shakespeare did wrote the sonnet for a"his"... his nephew
pablitougalde 2 years ago
Where did you find out that it was to his nephew? I've only read that it was to the "fair youth", and that no one knows who he was...
