you should have played the game with the original graphics, not with the HDR pack. Ok, oit has high resolution real 3D graphics, but the assault troopers/captains look strange (these are the "normal" aliens) and it doesn't have the DN3D original look and feel. Also i don't understand, why you only give 8/10 for the graphics, they where by far the best at that time (it was released before Quake) and you cannot judge 15 years old graphiscs with todays standards.
@rfvtgbzhn Dude I'm not judging it by todays standards, it looks awful today if played with the original graphics, but that's okay as it's old as heck. Also the graphics isn't the most important thing anyway. The gameplay is!
0:11 I never had any problems w/ the original DN3D aiming. It has mouseaiming, which is as easy as in any other FPS, it only doesn't have autoaiming, but I think that is a good thing, you don't need much skill for playing games with autoaiming (btw, eduke32 also doesn't have autoaiming). Of course you have to install a mousedriver for DOS to make the mosue work. Btw, eduke32 has a bug or feature, which is a biig problem imho: Duke always turns when jumping/swimming up/going up with the jetpack.
@rfvtgbzhn Autoaiming is for noobs, that's not what I ment, it's just harder to aim in because of the sensitivity, small resolution and more... I didn't notice any glitches in Eduke32 exept for some graphical glitches, it isn't finnished yet after all...
@CainmosniMirrored there is only one sset of spriets for Duke and this has the RPG. Probabvly they didn't have the time to make 11 different sets of sprites for Duke (including one if duke doesn't hold any weapon).

Finally a review! It was the best review yet in my opinion, even if it wa a bit short given the delay.
