What is on the menu? I have a baby albino ACF and I feed her(?) floating pellets bought from a lab that uses ACF's for experiments(sad I know). Just wondering what you feed that beast?
hey how old will the frog be when it reaches maximum growth becaus emy parents arent listening to me for the care of him like the heater,10 gallon tank and food i had him for 5 months and so im waiting for him to get big and prove them wrong -__-
I honestly don’t remember how old he was when he reached full size. I would take a guess at about 3-5 years after I got him (as a tadpole). Up until about two years ago I had him in a ten gallon tank before I realized that was probably too small and upgraded to a 30 gallon. Prior to the 30 gallon I didn’t have a heater or a very effective filter. I think these little guys are just resilient!! Good luck!
@TylerJ239 oh thanks :) my dogs name is Marley and to breed them (or For the Female to lay eggs) does it have to be older than five months? or to make it easier how old does the frog need to be (the least) to lay eggs because i will be getting 2 african clawed frogs female and male and i was wondering how old they''l have to be to have tadpoles
Not sure how old they need to be but based on my experience, I would approximate around a year old before you can start breeding, just based on growth rate.

I've had two since I was 5. 21 years and counting. Just keep the water clean and feed them well.
They aren't terribly active unless they're feeding. When people see them for the first time I get asked, "Are those real?" "Are they alive?"
