My rhythm section and I got to back up Red and (4 time Grammy) harp player, Bob Corritore, last year when their tour came through our town. Red's absolutely incredible---the real deal in every way--vocals, slide, acoustic, from pure natural old-style delta blues to rockin' Chicago blues. For me, it was better than playing with Chuck Berry, Chris Duarte, or a number of other well-known guitarists. He was not only a great musician but one of the kindest-hearted souls I ever met.

Yes indeed, this is Louisiana RED (not Reed). Thanks for this! Red was born in the US but has lived in Germany for a looong time now.
