Even if you don't pay credit card companies and even if you don't go to the corts, you will be able to get credit again after 7 years. Credit is like points in your license that you start getting them back after 18 months

if you don't go to court when they sue you, they win the judgement and can have your wages garnished or put a lien on your home (if you own a home). Those things can drag bad credit out for a long time.
