an angry angel screaming to the skies that cast him out, while at the same time daring the fiery depths below to try and lay claim to him. a truly tortured soul who left this earthly realm far too soon.
I was at this show and I wish I had enjoyed it more at the time. It was the only time I ever got to see Layne. And for $15!!! I would not pay $15 to see Mr. Duvall, let alone the $175 they are charging in Seattle to see them at The Paramount. What a rip off.
I would give my life savings and my right arm. For what it's worth though, people told Layne to get help and tried to get through to him, but it was just too late.
@GotMeWrong1984 well said..thanks for all these videos..they really are priceless...just saw them live in charlotte and really enjoyed it...i miss layne every day...i also wish there were more videos of layne and the guys playing "Rain When I Die" live. that to me is the most underrated song ever in history...peace!
@dopeboys I don't have videos but I do have some bootlegs I could upload of Rain When I Die and a few others, was actually thinkin of doin that when I was drivin today. I'll get to work on that this weekend
@RobertJosephRial You can't help people who don't want help. Plus, you don't know how everything went down or how active his family and friends were with trying to get him clean. heroin's a killer drug. Not a lot of people get off of it.
mike was pretty fun to watch. i remembering when he would pretend his bass was a shot gun and he's shoot it. he was underrated too. AIC has a good rhythm section.
Damn - I've never seen every member of AIC so into a live song as much as this version of Love Hate Love.
Between Layne singing his heart out and feeding off the crowd's energy, Jerry looking like Cousin It, Sean Kinney standing up while smashing his symbols, and the bassist sweating and head banging his ass off - This version of "Love, Hate, Love" is truly better than the studio version.
the last comment on this video was like a year ago? cmon ppl does anybody listen to good music anymore?

hands down The greatest band ever
Til this day I think Mike Starr is the hottest, sexiest bass player, Layne the best front-man, spectacular voice and stage presence
Jerry an amazing guitarist, Sean a phenomenal drummer

I would pay 175 is Layne was still with them gladly.

I would pay 175 if they had had an intervention and saved his life instead of letting him waste away on junk. Gladly.

Sean Kinney is THE most underated drummer. Thanks for noticing talent. Layne is still the best though...

I pretty much never post youtube comments unless it's for an AIC video - but I whole-heartedly concur.
Layne was peaking at this show...
You check the version of "Would?" from this show? One of the better live versions I've ever heard
