It does indeed depend on the driver...hell my every day driver is about 5 tenth of a second slower the a WRX Sti on paper, but because of the retarded kids that tend to own them I beat them almost every weekend. The GT-r is indeed faster on the circuit but you gotta remember its AWD against a RWD car...The GT-r is also faster 0-60, but the vette is faster 0-100, and has a faster top end, which makes me wonder if this was a standard c6 in this video.
911t and 911t already topped z06.z06 is in third place period. gtr is just not any other awd car out there...it is built with spec that can beat most cars on the street even rwd cars. now that shows to many drivers out there how impressive the gtr is today.
the gtr is fast on circuit and also on the streets too. when a gtr runs on circuit, it is usually equipped with a set of special tires. i believe a gtr on the street would probably only have factory tires and for sure that is enough to beat z06. gtr have the lunch control the help it take off perfectly every time. so there are no need for practice in lunch or shifting gears. easy car that will smoke the vettes.

You make absolutely no sense. It does indeed depend on the driver...hell my every day driver is about 5 tenth of a second slower the a WRX Sti on paper, but because of the retarded kids that tend to own them I beat them almost every weekend. The GT-r is indeed faster on the circuit but you gotta remember its AWD against a RWD car...The GT-r is also faster 0-60, but the vette is faster 0-100, and has a faster top end, which makes me wonder if this was a standard c6 in this video.

the gtr is fast on circuit and also on the streets too. when a gtr runs on circuit, it is usually equipped with a set of special tires. i believe a gtr on the street would probably only have factory tires and for sure that is enough to beat z06. gtr have the lunch control the help it take off perfectly every time. so there are no need for practice in lunch or shifting gears. easy car that will smoke the vettes.

Plus, in les man's race, the drivers name are on the TV screen or maybe you are just lame. gtr was banned in 1993 from Australia, after three consecutive wins in 1990, 1991 and 1992.I think the Les Mans in America right is just leaving out the GTR. i've never heard of the z06 doing the 0-60 in 3.3s. being realistic, the average gtr and vette driver would be racing light to light on the street, not on a track. sure the z06 won the nurburgring face off but you're dealing with an engine twice the size of the gtr even if non-aspirated. so give a little cred to the gtr even if you hate imports

Vette is cheaper and can still be modified, where the GT-R is limited to a small amount of a boost increase just short of a internals swap. Actually, the vette gets an average of 25 mpg. The GTR gets around 21 mpg. They're both around the same price. The corvette is still lighter than the GTR. you like to prejudege people base on the writing.well, you think you will save gas on a v8 engine? i don't think so,unless you plan to keep your rpm below 3000.try 3000rmp on the highway and you will be doing about 40-50mph on the slow lane with many traffic behind the z06. when the z06 is around around 65-80mph you rpm will be above 3k and don't expect to save gas by then.
