Does not matter if it looked real or not. If someone pointed a gun at me, you bet your sweet ass I would draw my weapon in response. It's only common sense to do so. I know how does goes down because I had the same thing happen to my younger brother. It was also a BB gun. The police officer also explained to him why he had to draw his weapon. Wish you were there. Parents fault and kid's fault. Parents should of taught him better.

Yes, of course it's not guns that kill people, but in fact the person who pulls the trigger.

But the fact the guns are such an easy to use and simple weapon of choice that has a great psychological power behind not only its physical presence but also the culture it embdies means that in this cultrue where gun crime is rising almost directly with the availability of the weapon an ban, or at least much stricter controls is required in the US so crimes like this aren't as easy to commit.

This is about the tragedy of innocent people being killed..by a man with a long history of drug abuse (why don't we have tougher laws ?) and because of that, mental illness. Drug dealers kill. Do not argue about guns. Pray, instead, for the families of the dead. And, give kudos to law enforcement for risking their lives daily in this world of drug crazed people. And, please, do not feel sorry for the drug addicted mentally ill..they need to take responsibility. Dealers get life..or death.
