I love it! I've been watching the Granada TV series with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes ever since kindergarden. Almost 10 years later and I still love it. The song is perfect for this vid. I do have a question to ask. Do you know what episode/movie the picture at 0:55 comes from? I don't think that I've ever seen it before. Again, I absolutely L-O-V-E this video! I have one word for you. Excellent! That is barely what I can describe your video to be. I am a huge Jeremy Brett fan, to me he is one of my three choices of whom I would describe to be the figure of Sherlock. Jeremy Brett,Vasily Livanov, and Sir Robert Stephens. Mr. Jeremy Brett certainly is what I find to be a true English man I do hope in the near future I run into one just like him. My oh my those English men are fine! (^_^)

Jeremy Brett is sure best Sherlock Holmes so far after Basil Rathbone. I do not understand why An "Iron Man" (Robert Downey) has been casted for the movie "Sherlock Holmes" he is not suited for this great character, specially when he is performing in a typical Yankee styles. I do not understand why in every classic movie this american style has been put. A Sherlock Holmes should be chosen who looks like Sherlock and as well as performs his characteristic approach.

Loved the video, was not aware JB was dying during the final episodes when I read his obit it said he died in his sleep from heart failure what terminal illness did he have?

Jeremy was extremely ill and collapsed on the set several times during the filming of the 'Memoirs'.

Jeremy suffered a terrible bout of rheumatic fever when he was quite young, and it damaged his heart permanently. Also, Jeremy was undergoing treatment for MD/BP with the drug Lithium, which led to a toxic build-up of the drug in his system damaging his heart further. Jeremy was then diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy. Jeremy passed on, September 12, 1995, at his home, from heart failure.

Mr. Brett did the last few episodes of Sherlock Holmes while he was dying. You can see it watching hiom in those episodes, and he knew he didn't have much time left. But he still gave his performances everything he had left.

I feel this tribute pretty much sums up Mr. Holmes and the brilliant man who portrayed him to a tee. Mr. Brett was actually quite the opposite of his reclusive and rather anti-social character in real life and I feel these behind the scenes glimpses show us just that--the real Jeremy Brett. Stange connections with the music: its from Danger Man/Secret Agent Man, which stared Patrick McGoohan. He was the first choice to play James Bond but turned it down. After Connery left, Brett was the first choice to replace him but they ultimately went with Lazenby, he later screen tested for Live and Let Die but they went for Moore
