Sorry, but that's not right. You made a few riffs TOTALLY different. How you get the high pitched part around the 12 fret thing, you use a Wah distortion, and hold it down a certain amount.

I noticed you are using a ibanez mike mushok baritone guitar. I have the new prs mike mushok and I was wondering what you have to do in order to tune it to standard or drop d. because you obviously have done it.

I am asking this because I have been told by people at my local music store that if I tune my baritone to standard. the neck could get damaged or my strings will snap really easily.

Can you help me out ?

It's true, I actually kept it tuned standard for over a year until the neck started to bend. I just used the lightest gauge strings I could find. But I pretty much keep it dropped down a whole step now. If I tune it up, it's just for a few days or so...

Yeah man, i agree with alisatyricon.. Tool songs are not hard. (Guitaring, i mean..) The first tool song I learnt right through was Eulogy, and it's a great song to get a feel for adam's style; both his older and new stuff.. And adam doesn't jump around on stage like a fucking cock, he stands there and endulges in the music that he and the rest of the band create.

hey your playing the first part wrong, not that yours is bad, it is just played with harmonics on the 12th fret along with some notes on the 15th fret on the D and a string, hope this helps
