  • i'm so glad there are over 50,000 other nerds. i thought i was alone in my obsession.

  • In the tv series the hound seems very nice.

  • @xshiny He's nice in the books as well :p

  • No sound?

  • Not sure about The Hound's casting. In the novels he always comes across as much more dangerous and violent, but obviously less malicious than his brother.

  • im confused, does he have a thing for sansa? you know during the "fire" and when he was talking to arya about sansa...

  • @LoveYamachan I think he found her attractive and because of how he looks he sees her as something he can never have. Completely different people but I think there was definite physical attraction. For her he seemed to have started her sexual maturity and she often thinks about him in the other books. There's an interview with the writer/director of GoT on their relationship. Type in David Benioff on Sandor and Sansa

  • What episode is the scene when sansa is in front of the throne and Joffrey has her dress ripped?

  • @Balletanna15 Season 2.

  • @Balletanna15 Second series, hopefully

  • He's not nearly drunk enough in the series. Just sayin'.

  • The young man they had play the Prince did manage to make everyone hate him. Good acting all the way around.

  • Did Sandor become part of the Kingsguard? His armor design near the end of the video looks like it.

  • @OFJehutyV2 Yes, he takes the place of Barristan Selmy. We didn t get to see that in the show, but it was a great scene in the book...

  • you know I always thought it odd that Sandor had a kerchief on him.

  • It's says a lot that this is one of, if not the, least dysfunctional relationships in the entire series.

  • Given the kinds of comments being written here, am I right in guessing that the Hound and Sansa were romantically involved in the books?

  • @TheJboy88 No but its implied that the hound wants her and that she also unconsciously wants him too.

  • @TheJboy88 *Subconsciously =)

  • @mskittykat1101 Please tell me that was a typo and you meant Sandor instead of Gregor O.O

  • god i love sandor's voice.... its almost an opposite to sansa's...

  • i really like the fringe/"runty" characters... ser jorah, gregor clegane, jon snow ;p

  • uughhr... From day one i really didn't like Joffrey... He is such a dick.. BUT I do really love the Hound... He is much more interesting then the little blond prick with the ugly lezard face. (aaah.. i feel sooo muchh better ^^) besides, i will NEVER forget him for killing Ned !!!

But still, it really is an amazing show :)

  • The way Joffrey says: "You're scaring my lady." is so hip hop. Awful.

  • joffreys face doesnt seem to move, almost like a person whose face is frozen with botox

  • People going on about age difference in the medieval age a girl of 13 was old enough to wed. Hell a noblemen would try to find someone approtpriate for her age but if he had the opprutunity to advance himself or somthing they'd marry her just as easy to an older man so no in this age difference isn't creepy at all.

  • HOW is this show so well done? I can't even concieve what a good portrayal the show does of the books. FUCK!

  • Sandor and Sansa

  • 7:06- 7:14 Sansa you're inner Stark is showing.

As for this ship, I'm not gonna lie it's probably one of my favorites in both the books as well as this show. I as well will go down with this ship.

  • Are they an actually couple in the book?

  • @aleesha1395 are you talking about Sandor and Sansa or Sansa and Jofrey?

  • :59 seconds in...Joffrey is such a cockblock :D

  • LMAO the beginning of the scene was so funny, like its a parody! "look at his facee..." lmaooo

  • i wonder how they are going to do the 'Tyrion and Sansa' scenes, if you know what i mean

  • @prettyreckless2700 Hell, those are going to be some of the most awkward scenes filmed in the series, I think, considering their actual age difference.

  • @Tudor3867

yeah i know its gonna be really awkward. The guy who's playing Sandor is like 40 but in the book he was supposed to be like 26. I thought the age diff in the books were wack (15 ish) but the show is gonna be creepy and little awkward...

  • @alberteinsteinsmuse Also since it is on HBO and there are some sex scenes (coughcough Dany coughcough) they had to bump up the ages of all the characters. Since Dany and Sansa were both about 13 in the books I think they are supposed to be 17 in the show. So all the characters got an age increase.

  • @belfasterd Sansa is 13 at the begining the show. In the first or second episode she tells cercei that she is 13, but by the end of the show she might be 14. In the book, she starts at 11!

  • are they gonna kill sansa and her brother?

  • She was going to throw him off, why didn't she let Arya kill him in another earlier episode?.

  • @Wolfen443 Cus he hadn't ordered the murder of her father yet...

  • I hope they'll have A LOT of SanxSan scenes in the second season to make up for the ones missing in the first season. Can't wait for her to sing for him! :D

  • yeah push that little shit

  • Dammit Littlefinger, that was Sandor's speech to say.

  • @Nickompoop I was thinking the same!!!! I just read it yesterday and I was like: Wait a minute, doesn't the Hound tell her that story himself? But anyway, as long as the story is told, I'm ok with it. :)

  • @reuscmar It's important that Sandor tells it; it's essential character development for him.

  • Jack Gleeson is an amazing child actor.

  • Despite the age difference, form their first scene together, I felt chemistry and Sandor seems to have a tenderness and protective focus on Sansa. I can't wait for the next season.

  • @shazzqsong sandor dies

  • @xxxusernameherexxx : HE IS NOT DEAD HE IS IN REHAB

  • @Druzica18 no hes dead

  • I will go down with this ship

  • that guy gave a whole new meaning to sore loser killing the horse kill the guy not the pretty black horse

  • Joffery's ring is like the size of his head!

  • Die Joffrey Die!

  • GOSH, GARY DOESN'T KNOW OF HAPPY ENDINGS BUT GOOD STORY AND GREAT ACTOR, I LIKE THE HOUND,TYRION, DANY, DROGO, JON AND ARYA, OH AND I FORGOT THAT EVEN IF HE BAD JAIME HEY, DON'T SAY ANYTHING HE JUST SO FUCK UP THAT I LIKE HIM... LITTLEFINGER IS THE ENVY OF ALL POLITICIANS, A MASTERMIND I TELL YOU! THAT MAN IS SLY BUT HEY HE AMUSED ME!!!

  • I can't believe how tall Rory McCann is! He's gigantic :) I'm so excited for next season. I think he's going to do great as the Hound

  • Sandor is amazing, probably in my top 3 characters. (Dolorous Edd being another :D ) there's just enough of that conflicted heart deep inside him that you can't help but think he's one of the good guys overall, but it's not enough to overwhelm his crassness and badassery.

here's to more Sandor and the introduction of Dolorous Edd next season!

  • How much time passed in the first Season? Not that this makes her much older, but isn't Sansa supposed to be 14 now after so many months have passed? Just curious, because I didn't keep track of the timeline.

  • @amschafe85 Nearly enough time for Dany to get pregnant and be ready to give birth.

  • its awesome how the hound actually WANTS to serve an unreasonable psycho like joffrey, because it gives him a chance to be horribly and randomly violent, with OFFICIAL APPROVAL. And in this, he's not much different than his brother.

  • @ravenouscolonelhart I think he is very much different than his brother.

  • Comment removed

  • the actor who plays littlefinger did a fantastic job. actually all the actors are pretty amazing in this series.

  • I mentioned this in a different SanSan video, but i must do it again :D - After fighting his brother off, when the crowd applaused, did he blinked to his right where Sansa was standing? :)

  • "Away with you, dog. You're scaring my lady."

    ;___;

  • @PinkRose0910 the Hound never did that :/ his only sin was not protecting Sansa from Joffrey

  • Sandor: "He frightens me too. Look at that face..."

    Ser Ilyn:

  • Guys, the Hound killed the butcher's boy in the book. Plus, he was really really bad to Sansa early on in the book.

Ah, I love both book and TV Series! Now no spoilers.

  • @OutswingingYorker It's hardly worse than anything Jaime ever did in the series, and we all love HIM, don't we? ;)

  • @ShadowSonic2 I was just making sure we keep things real. After all, the gritty reality of this book series/TV show is it's salient feature, right? =D

  • @OutswingingYorker At least this Sandor isn't getting all orgasmic over killing Mycah as book Sandor did...

  • " He frightens me too" such a troll XD Hi5 to the actor (Rory McCann) of Sandor Clegane XD But in the books he is much younger :S only 26-27 years old o.O

  • Can't wait for season 2! A lot of SanSan scenes ahead! Especially that one... Well... no spoilers, therefore just one word: riot. ; )

  • @borchie1986

I just read the part you're talking about in the book last week. Powerful stuff, I can't wait for the series

  • SanSan FTW!

  • Sing for me

  • @LCHC1 sweet i got it, but those who don't READ THE BOOKS, and DO NOT GOOGLE IT

  • The only thing the Hound fears is fire, the only thing the Hound wants is to get even with his brother.

  • Geez, epic burn to Ser Payne, being told you have a scarier face than the Hound?

  • Dude Sandor is evil. Killing the girls father. Telling her as soon as she is able to bear children he is going to rape her and make her have his kids infront of the other dudes.

  • @PinkRose0910 Did you mean Jeoffry?

  • @PinkRose0910 did that happen? I forgot about it. He never killed her father, he killed Mycah.

  • @PinkRose0910 Do you mean Joffrey, the prince/king? Sandor never did those things.

  • le film a l'aire bien mais alors la traduction youyou anglais- francais est a mourrir de rire XD

  • He reminds me of the kid from Children of the Corn

  • "He frightens me too..."

Bollocks!! Don't belive that for a second...!

  • I must say she took those slaps like a boss

  • I really think this should be said: I find that, Jack Gleeson, the actor who impersonates Joffrey is doing an incredibly awesome job. He portrays Joffrey very well with his sick sadistic nature, his uncontrolled mood swings and his sliminess. He is really good because he makes us really hate, despise and fear his charactere. All of the young actors are doing an awesome job - but i think he kind of sticks out. Looking forward to see more of him.

  • @Megloriathehippo Honestly I find all the Joffrey hate overrated. I think his mother is much more unlikable.

  • @Megloriathehippo but if we see more of him that will mean more heads will roll...so I have to say I'm not looking forward to seeing more of Joffrey. He scares me.

  • @Megloriathehippo I'm looking forward to see him DIE!!!!

  • @Megloriathehippo Pretty much. At the end of the day, an actor who plays a villain, if he can get you to say : "christ I'd like to bitch slap that asshole", basically did his job brilliantly.

  • @Megloriathehippo I think Tyrion and Jon are doing the best work, their characters have more depth. That's just my opinion, where as Joffrey can really commit entirely to being a scumbag. But I do agree, he plays the part very well and makes you hate him, much like Jaime.

  • The Hound and The Mountain are beasts!!!!!

  • Joff is so puny.

  • Not gonna lie, Joffrey creeps me right the fuck out. I think it's his cold, soul-less eyes....

  • @theGoob713 actor does a damn good job then

  • @00eljavi23 Wow. Because 15 year olds are clearly ready for sex and marriage mentally these days.

  • @NoellVague depends on where you are in the world.

  • what is Baelish's game, trying to scare Sansa with his story??

  • I'm sorry but all you San-San fans out there, you do realize... Sansa is 12ish?!?! And Sandor is... what, at least 30?? So when you say you are a fan of them, I hope you mean as friends :P

  • @Moon720: I'm a fan of of them as a romantic couple--WHEN SHE'S OLDER. (Also, I believe Sandor is only about 25-6 in the book--Tyrion is 27 and Sandor's supposed to be younger than him.)

  • @Druzica18 Other way around, I think. Tyrion is supposed to be 8 years younger than his siblings (who were both in their early 30s when the saga starts) so he's 23-24. Sandor is supposed to be in his late twenties. Both the actors in the show are in their 40s though.

  • @Moon720 Lol in my mind she's legal. In my mind I kinda upped the ages of all the kids by like 5 years because otherwise I couldn't deal with the creepiness. D:

  • Hodor

  • they should have added in the tv show the scene where sandor accompanies sansa to the castle

  • 3:43 Joffrey had a boner xD.....gosh i hate him!! xD

  • I can't wait for season 2, when he should start calling her "little bird" ;)

  • I fucking hate Littlefinger. He is even a bigger asshole here than in the books.

  • you know... Its almost like sandor has kinda a thing for sansa... But i heard an interview where they said that sandor loves sansa because shes beautiful and hes horribly ugly.. GO SANDOR!

  • @guesswhofails really? where did you hear that news? :D

  • @whateverdude i heard an interview with George Martin over them, He says because sandor is so deformed and sansa is so beautiful he sees her as something he could never have so he cherishes her

  • @guesswhofails really? aww!! that's so sweet! who knew The Hound has a soft side!! :D

  • I still think that Rory McCann would have made a great James Bond. He kinda looks like Connery, plus has the rad Scottish accent. Though 6'6'' may be a bit too massive for a suave secret agent.

  • This is a bit humorous but I often envision the song "Like a boss" when I see Sandor :), I adore this pairing! Goodness knows we're all anxious for season 2!

  • Can't wait for the Red Viper vs Mountain fight. "You raped her, you killed her, you killed her children".

  • Little Finger's a pedo

  • I totally fell for SanSan. She's everything he is not and vice versa and it's something noone would have expected, but that's exactly what makes this relationship so interesting to follow. Even fascinating, I'd say.

  • What chapter are they?

  • "You look quite nice"

    Oh Joffrey, ever the charmer...

  • 1:17, 5:31.

What happened to not liking to see her upset? Rather contradictory of him to torture her like that.

  • @00eljavi23 Her character is 13, and you referred to her as Sansa. Not Sophie Turner. Anyways, I don`t talk to pedophiles.

  • i just realized how much i adore sansa's hairstyles :D especially the very first one Xxxx

  • @00eljavi23 Crazy? Perhaps I am. But if you`re older than 18 you`re essentially admitting you`d perform pedophilia on a child actor. That`s the relevance of your age in this discussion. So, maybe the simple fact that you`re unwilling proves that you`re a creepy man who talks about fucking children on youtube... That`s where I stop talking to you.

  • @00eljavi23 Blind no, I can read that she's 15... and that she's 13 in this scene... How old are you?

  • How old is he in the books? cause this is like people shipping Snape and Hermione territory XD

  • @Em183 I don't think it's ever explicitly said how old he was, but I always pictured him late 30s, early 40s.

Hehe, yes, it is a little... interesting... to ship such a May December romance, but hey, this was medieval times, once a girl had gone through puberty it was considered perfectly normal for a much older man to wed her and bed her. Sansa doesn't hit puberty till the second book, but what the hell ever. Shippers gonna ship. ;D

  • @OfShadowandSubstance: I can't swear to this, but I *think* Sandor is about 26 in the books when the action starts.

  • @Druzica18 Seriously? Wow. I always pictured him about 38. O_O

  • @OfShadowandSubstance: Well, all that drinking and such ages you quite a bit. Plus the burn scars don't help.

  • @Em183 In the books he's in his late 20s but obviously he's been aged up for the show.

  • "As soon as you've had your blood I'll put a son in you, mother says that shouldn't be long"

    How very ROMANTIC! *barfs*

  • @Em183: IKR? Ten gold dragons says Joff finishes in about ten seconds. Possibly before he gets his breeches off. And Sansa will be like, "Seriously? Gross, you got it all over the bedspread!" and Joffrey will be all, "THIS WILL NEVER BE SPOKEN OF AGAIN."

  • @Druzica18 LOL

  • @00eljavi23 That's gross man. She's clearly going to be a very attractive woman, but some things you just don't say about someone so young.

  • The Hound is probly the coolest character I've seen in the show so far. a 6'6 giant, wih a melted face, with a very curious character. Seemingly evil, with curious softer sides, and a great sense of loyalty. I always love the anti-hero(if you'd really call him that).

Joffrey is probly the worst character in the whole show. An obvious psychopath, who's parents were twin brother and sister, and an unworthy usurper of the throne who's mother has bread him to think he's better than everyone.

  • @00eljavi23 the actress is 15 now so maybe 14 when this was filmed

  • Urgh, I want to smack that little king so bad!

  • @00eljavi23 Dude, she's like, 14.

  • Lol, I know this is a Sandor video, and I'm a hopeless San/San-er, but Gregor is such a sore loser! Someone needs to smack that bitch.

But yeah, thanks so much for this! I've re-watched Ep. 10 just for that scene, but I'd forgotten about the 'Who do you think sent me' one. What a pleasant surprise!

  • @abovis2: Dude, don't try it. You'll break your hand on Gregor's rock-hard skull!

  • i think that little punk jeoffery looks creepier than sandor.

  • @persebra God, yes. Those creepy little colorless eyes. Honestly, I don't see how you could look at Joffrey and not think "What an inbred asshole!"

  • @persebra I never pictured Sandor as really "Creepy" at all. Scary as hell? Yes. Creepy? No. I pretty much pictured him like he's portrayed, large and intimidating, and not the kind of guy you'd like to meet in a dark alley.

  • Somebody needs to make some Team SanSan pins for all of us... I don't see why twilight fans should have all the fun!

  • @mier1987 This needs to happen. It really does.

  • I seem to remember from the books, Jamie Lannister said he wouldn't want to face off against the Hound.

  • Why doesn't he call her little bird?

  • I think the change is more believable, personally. Much as I loved that scene in the book, there's NO way we can have Sandor spontaneously monologue to Sansa about how terrible life with Gregor is if we want audiences to keep a straight face - it would look silly on screen, IMO. It also makes the Hound's fondness for Sansa more subtle and less obsessive-like.

Here's praying reunite in one of the next two volumes, because us SanSan fans will be sad if they don't (and I'm a MALE fan, to!)

  • @AvatarWho Those are actually some really good points. I was, and still am, very upset when I saw how it had been changed, but what you say does make sense.

Sandor and Sansa reuniting in books six and seven is a must!

And that is awesome, SanSan needs more male fans. :)

  • @AvatarWho A male Sansan fan?? You made my day! :D

The scene was important to me though. I mean Sandor (for whatever reason) telling Sansa something no one else knows. The fact that Littlefinger is the one to relay the tale makes it somewhat impersonal.

  • You know its meant to be when the first 3 letters of your names are the same....

  • @LeadZebra This is very true.

  • Sometimes its just annoying when dialogue is moved around like that.

I know its an adaption butstill...

  • Sandor is a bit more sympathetic in this show than in the first book. In the GoT book he's a loud jerk to everybody but here he's more reserved and doesn't really enjoy being a Lannister thug but is bound to serve them. Guess it's to set up his bigger role later on.

  • @ShadowSonic2 Yeah, I've noticed they're tried to make all the characters a little more sympathetic (e.g., Cat not telling Jon she wished it was he who fell, Cersei not terminating her pregnancies by Robert, Jaime being the Well Done Son Guy who just wants his father's love, etc.). I approve of it, to a point. Sandor is different than he is in the books, but he's still crazy badass, so you know, whatever.

  • @xSanSanfanx Well, IMO Jaime's case is more that they've taken his later persona (when we finally see things from his POV) and made that his character instead of just seeing him through biased POVs like in the first two books. It works, because this is told from a 3rd person POV and not through various perspectives.

  • @ShadowSonic2 Yeah, that's what I meant, they've speeded up his character progression, or at least showed us what was actually going on his head, which we don't learn till book three. I really like that they've done that for him.

  • @ShadowSonic2 See, i was reading the books before watching the series. I actually feel like the Hound

was actually pretty sympathetic there, too, in GoT. There were hints of how tenderly he handled Sansa.

  • Thank you for this! Exactly what I needed :D

I really love Sandor. He intrigued me on my first viewing, but the more I read the further in I was drawn. Brilliant character, and he's helped make Sansa more grounded. I liked her a lot more in the book and the more of her I read than in the show. That was you may be getting some whining, but her thoughts too :P Ramble not planned... Um, yay Sandor! :D

  • @GeekGrrrrl You're most welcome!

Yes, Sandor is an amazing character, and I love his relationship with Sansa (hehe, obviously). And I agree about Sansa, I like her much more in the books than I do in the show. Though I love her in the show, too.

  • Sandor was in hot fuzz!!! I didn't notice him.

  • I just love when he grumbles "I'm no ser" perfect.

  • lol you should warn of spoilers in this

  • @XClone08 Why? It's sort of a given that any video featuring clips from something is bound to spoil it.

  • the hound is still kind of hot !!!!!!!!1 and his brothers a total prick!!
