she turns 19 in november of this year. i can't say that i remember when she was born cause i am 20 but i'm sure plenty of people old than me do. no one suspects her of lying about her age, its just not possible and it would be a huge scandal. she can't be hannah montana forever she has to live her life.she didn't ask for all this media attention.

 If you ask me, her drinking beer is a bigger deal than her smoking a bong. It is illegal for her to drink under 21 in the US but it is legal for her to smoke salvia in California at age 18; however, she was in spain in this picture, where underaged drinking is decriminalized and not inforced, especially at 18. So NO BIG DEAL to both situations!
