  • When I get to Part 2 of this presentation, I'll deal with the Sorceries mentioned at the end of Revelation 9 which are the Greek words # 5331, 5332, & 5333 related to 'Pharmacy' in your Strong's Bible Concordance. I'll also talk about the Organized Crime involvement in the Murder, Theft, Fornication & Sorcery 'Industries'. In the meantime see: Revelation Chapter 9, Rev 9, Locusts, Helicopters, Atom Bomb, World War III, Sorcery, Part 1 -

  • Sorry if i sound bemused. Can I ask what doctorate Adrian Rogers has and from where? I presume theology? I only have a degree in theology myself and am interested in his credentials. :D

  • @DeniqueCoelum ~ After being baptised in the full power of the Holy Spirit, a person usually has but a weak feeling of the Holy Spirit's presence left in his body. It takes decades to grow up to the level where one can talk with God, and untill then a Christian can not know exactly what in his mind is from the Holy Spirit. In the context of 1Thess.5:21 to prove all things means to investigate and value by logical.reasoning without knowing exactly how the Holy Spirit will help one to do that.

  • @DeniqueCoelum ~ Matt. 2:1 says that Jesus was born during Herod the Great. Herod the Great died in 4 BC, so Matthew states that Jesus was born in 4 BC or earlier. According to Luke 2:1-5, however, Jesus was born when Augustus began to collect taxes in Israel in the year 6 after Christ. Thus there is a difference of 8 years between Matthew and Luke concerning when Jesus was born. Since churches could not resolve that contradiction, they put the birth of Jesus at year 1 by dividing 8 with 2.

  • Correction of my previous answer to DeniqueCoelum: The difference between Matthew and Luke concerning when Jesus was born is 10 years.

  • @DeniqueCoelum ~ Mark 2:26 says that a high priest called Abiathar was in charge when David came to the temple to ask for bread. According to 1Sam.21:1 the name of the priest who gave David the bread was Ahimelech. 1Sam. 20:22 says that Abiathar at that time was a son of Ahimelech, but nowhere in the Old Testament it is said that Abiathar at that time was high priest, so it is not probable that Jesus would talk of Abiathar instead of Ahimelech. Mark. 2:26 puts false words into Christ's mouth.

  • @DeniqueCoelum ~ Rom.5:12 "...by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men..." In this context the words sin and death mean something spiritual, are synonymous with Satan.

1John 5:19 "...the whole world lieth in wickedness." In this context the word wickedness is synonymous with Satan.

Rom. 7:17 "Now it is no more I that do it but sin that dwelieth in me." In this context the word sin is synonymous with Satan.

Also Satan can reveal what is of the flesh.

  • @DeniqueCoelum ~ Logic is of God (1Thes. 5:21), and I said 2Chronicles. In 1Kings 7:15-20 the hight of the pillars is 18+5 and pomegranates are 200, while in 2Chronicles 3:15-17 the hight of the pillars is 35+5 and pomegranates are 100.

Mark 2:26 says that at the time David asks for temple's bread the name of the chief priest is Abiathar, while in 1Sam. 21:1 the chief priest at that time is Ahimelech.

Matt.2:1 says Jesus was born at Herod's time, while Luke 2:1-5 says at the time of Augustus.

  • @DeniqueCoelum ~ God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts, but still, God command us to test everything by logic. By honestly confronting the Bible with the Bible itself, everyone can se that the Bible contains contradictions and questionable writings. Here are some verses that contradict each other:

    1Kings 7:15-20 / 2Chr.3:15-17

    Mark 2:26 / 1Sam. 21:1

    Matt. 2:1 / Luke 2:1-5

    Here are some questionable writings:

Books of Chronicles, Esther, Revelation, Hebrews, Jude, Matthew's second chapter.

  • @DeniqueCoelum ~ Because of Adam's original sin everyone is born impure with Satan in his body, and an ordinary Christian can never be sure whether a word or a thought that comes into his mind is from the Holy Spirit or from Satan. An ordinary Christian can hope that the Holy Spirit will put words and thoughts in his mind, but not in every matter he can be absolutely sure that his opinion is right. An ordinary Christian can reason right only by being honest and by following the laws of logic.

  • @DeniqueCoelum ~ If you would miraculously restore a missing tooth in my mouth across the Europe, I would believe that the Holy Spirit speaks to you, but since you show no signs of being able to prove yourself having conversations with the Holy Spirit, I think you are but imagining that the Holy Spirit speaks to you. In ordinary Christians the Holy Spirit is helping only by reasoning and putting logical thoughts into their minds, and in my logical reasoning the Bible partially is not of God.

  • @DeniqueCoelum You take some great examples of valuable messages from the Bible; there are important lessons and wisdom to be found there. But there is much that is ungodly in it too, and I could never ignore that like so many others do. This made me distrust the Bible when I was still a child. I felt I knew the nature of God through Christ's words, which weren't reflected in the rest of the Bible or in much of the religious instruction I received.

  • @ivyshoots How many false prophets and charlatan preachers have to be exposed as frauds before you become suspicious of the next one to come along? You don't get more "earnest" than Pastor Steven Anderson (search for his vids here), or more hateful. Sorry, the Bible makes it too easy for haters to feel good about themselves. Westboro Baptist Church? Earnest as they come. The more you know about the history of the Bible, the harder it is to view it as "God's word" rather than men's.

  • @DeniqueCoelum I believe when people speak and act from love they are in accordance with God, but I don't believe anyone speaks FOR God, and even when a preacher is earnest and pure in intent, he's only human and therefore not qualified or capable to lecture others. I believe witnessing involves making one's life a demonstration of living in accordance to Christ's teachings, not telling OTHERS what to do, condemning them for falling short, or preaching to others what you don't follow yourself.

  • The best Bible Teacher of our time.....

  • @vispravnic u mean the pope of today of the catholic church.? Does he call him self JEsus' equal?

  • Many things are not interpreted properly and like those who built a view about the Messiah when Jesus turned up they found they were so wrong that they tried to rub out the truth by hanging Him on the cross.

  • Anyone interested in Worldwide Revival please let me know. Minister Rob

  • brainwashing in full effect

  • @firecrackerg60 why come on here if you're just going to condemn us? please refrain from that.. it makes you look pretty petty...

  • King James Version and the good 'ol red, white, & blue

  • Jesus is a person and not a lamb as in Revelation 5:6-14. Thus to me Revelation is a prophecy of idolatry (Deut.13:1-3), written probably in order to give credibility in advance to the Antichrist. Disguised as the "God" of Rev.4:3, the Antichrist will probably appear on a throne in the sky (God´s temple) with his "angels" (a vision), and Satan´s spirit might be allowed by God to make many animals worship him. The horrors of Revelation might come true up to 6:12 before the real Jesus returns.

  • When NT says that Scriptures are inspired by God, it is said only in general about the scriptures of Moses and Prophets in OT. The Bible, however, was not put together by God but by humans, and there are no guaranties that the whole Bible is God´s word. On contrary, it is apparent that God, who puts humans to the test, did allow Satan´s secret tempters in the past to change God´s word here and there into insignificant contradictions and add such false writings as Revelation to NT and OT.

  • Correct. The 800-lb gorilla in the room is that there is no such thing as "THE" Bible, only dozens of different versions, conflicting translations, and inclusions/exclusions of various gospels and chapters -- all before we get to the conflicting INTERPRETATIONS men give these many versions of "God's word."

  • To ivyshoots who answered my comment:

OT and NT mainly contain God´s word, and to begin with, there is nowhere else a human can find God´s word except in the Bible. Usually only after decades of seeking God´s kingdom through faith and obedience, a christian can became so united with God that he/she can hear God speaking. Until then, a christian with God´s help is to study official a version of the Bible. The official Bibles are less distorted, since the authorities are God´s servants.

  • mikilavush, let me know when one of those "official authorities" sells you an iconic bridge in NYC so I may congratulate you.

BTW don't take the word "word" so literally, and maybe you'll begin to understand that God's MESSAGES to us are available everywhere all the time, not just in one man-made book.

  • My second and last answer to ivyshoots:

Here are some Bible verses that can teach you not to make fun out of authorities, no matter how authorities are ~

    Rom.13:1-7; Titus 3:1; 1Pet. 2:13,14,17

    Prov. 16:10; 20:8; 21:1; 25:2,3,6; 29:14

    Eccl. 8:2,4; 10:20; Dan. 2:21

  • Wow you are such a bunch of Pharisees and charlatans. The most casual observer can see you are not followers of the Gospels, but of other scripture you can twist to justify your claim that God can only be known through self-proclaimed "authorities." Look how you ignore JESUS in order to worship PAUL, a pretender, a charlatan.

  • God doesn't speak to us through other men. Men who claim they speak for God are charlatans. The true Word of God is all around you, not in a book written and printed by men. It comes to everyone directly and equally, not via a few self-proclaimed "anointed" spokesmen, or from counsels and kings. Be quiet and listen, and you will hear God really says.

  • @ivyshoots//God cannot lie. His word says "Understanding cometh by hearing!" Before you start telling God's people what to do, make sure you know what you're talking about!!

  • Bud, I'm sure I know what I'm talking about, but you don't seem to. Were you trying to quote Paul's claim that "FAITH cometh by hearing?" (Romans 10:17) when you said, "Understanding cometh by hearing!" or were you just telling me your own personal interpretation of God's word?

I didn't say God lies, but omnipotence includes the ability to lie.

You need to heed your own advice: "Before you start telling God's people what to do, make sure you know what you're talking about!!"

  • @ivyshoots ///I do...I was fishing. Have your own way...while you can.

  • Fishing? Is that what the kids call bullshitting these days? Believe in a fairy tale...while you can.

  • someday you are gonijg to stand before Almighty God, whom you don't believe in, and you will give an account for EVERY idle word you have spoken. Then you will be cast into a very real hell, whether you believe it or not. Now this might sound harsh, but you have probably heard the gospel 4-5 times and in your vain conceits, refused to believe on Jesus Christ. THAT is the sin that will condemn you. Read John 3: 18. Three EIGHTEEN

  • @sparwood8 - your indoctrination by charlatans and Pharisees blinds you to your sin of bearing false witness against me. You memorize the numbers of chapter and verse, but fail to understand their MEANINGS. If an interpretation of scripture allows you to feel superior to someone else, it is a WRONG interpretation.

Condemning a perfect stranger to eternal damnation for the "sin" of rejecting false prophets is a "vain conceit" if ever there was one.

  • How did I condemn you. I am not qualifed to condemn you. I only told you what God's Word says of them who refuse to believe that Jesus Christ is God, inhuman flesh... and aka God's only Son.

Satan's children refuse to believe that, and it will cost them eternity

  • @sparwood 8 - Of course you're not qualified to condemn me, so why did you do it? And why do you now deny it, when your condemnation is posted right here? You said, "you will be cast into a very real hell, whether you believe it or not." Not "satan's children" or "them who refuse" but "YOU" ivyshoots -- YOU!!! And not "if" anything, you said it is a certainty.

You also judged me "vain" and said I don't believe in God. You know nothing about me but you bear false witness against me.

  • Blah blah blah. I really don't CARE. You are a religous troll. Hit the road

  • You asked me how you condemned me. I told you. You asked me AGAIN. I told you AGAIN. Asking a question, and not just once but twice, is an awfully strange way of demonstrating that you "really don't CARE." Idle words?

For someone who believes in the fires of eternal damnation, you sure do break Commandments pretty casually. Bearing false witness is a sin; write that down in your little notebook.

  • You are right, I really DON'T care about you. WHY? Well, you are a troll and also just WORDS ON A SCREEN. Think about that.

  • You don't care about a fellow human being? Is that what Jesus said would get you into heaven, not caring about others?

But your lies don't fool Him -- you didn't say you don't care about ME, you said you don't care about the answer to the question you asked twice. You don't CARE that you condemned someone to hell as if you were God Himself -- another clear rejection of Christ's teachings. Tsk tsk.

  • Well do you care about me? I think not

  • LOL Yeah I forgot, Jesus said, "Love your enemies, but only if they demonstrate that they 'care' about you first." That's what your "authorities" taught you? "Men are superior to women. GOD wants it that way. No, really, PAUL said so." Nice perversion of the Word.

  • I sent you a clip in site mail. Dunno if you go tit or not.

  • and you are a motormouth. Look at how much space you have filled in the last few pages on this forum alone. ... and they wonder why Paul said, "Women ought to remain silent in the Churches' He was thinking of you

  • Two months ago, I had a conversation with someone here. Then two days ago, you decided to butt into it and condemn me to hell as if you were God Himself (who you claimed I don't believe in, even though all my posts were about hearing his messages).

No one was speaking TO YOU. YOU inserted yourself here, then tell ME to stop talking, as if you have some authority over this comment section. Obviously you've had a lifetime of problems with women, you just don't know they were all YOUR fault.

  • It's actually quite painful to witness your complete misunderstanding and perversion of even the simplest scriptural points. Thank you for demonstrating how easily someone can fool himself into believing God's word is meant only for OTHERS to follow, while his own purpose is to sit in judgment and spew hypocrisy, hatred, and lies.

  • Know who you remind me of? The devil himself. HE is the ACCUSER of the bretheren. AND... that is the name of your game here.

I didn't condemn you, the word fo God does. You have rejected Christ... and according to John 3:18 you will be condemned fo this. Read it for yourself

    There is still time, though

  • You condemned ME to hell for not believing in God, when you had absolutely no reason to assume such a lie, and your words are right here staring at you. Yet you take turns pretending they aren't, and claiming you "don't CARE" that they are. Then you demean women as your "spiritual" leaders encourage you to do. The twisted version of "belief in God" you live by feeds your ego, vanity, and misogyny. The truth hurts so much you are now reduced to calling me "the devil himself." You are exposed

  • Ma'am, can't you see where this is going?

  • No, and neither can you. I speak the truth. What do you speak?

  • I already repeated the proof that you condemned ME specifically to hell. Are you in denial of your own actions? You targeted me, based on your lack of comprehension of what I wrote, and your pride, and you pronounced me condemned to hell. Yet you deny rather than retract your false witness against me. Why?

  • Kindly do us both a favor. Practice silence.

  • @sparwood8 - why should I do you any favors? You condemned me to hell for speaking the truth about hucksters like Dr Adrian Rogers. What makes you think YOU own this forum, and get to decide who may speak and who must "hit the road?" Could you be any more presumptuous and vain?

I guess they don't teach the concept of "free speech" in Canada, but we have it in the US, and it means frostbacks like you don't get to tell us when to shut up. Now YOU hit the road, hoser.

  • God DOES speak through men (believers) Hey, he even spoke through the mouth of an ass. Seriously.

You want to know God personally, then you need to read his Bible. It is there that he reveals his nature, his desire for you, and even the future.

  • I don't "need" a stranger to tell me what I "need" to do in order to know God. The word of God is available to all of us directly, as it has always been. You have been fooled by charlatans, and now (unwittingly?) act as one yourself.

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

You talk too much (must be a woman/girl)

  • You aren't very bright, sparwood8. No wonder you believe what charlatans tell you.

  • So you are contending that God never spoke through Isaiah or through an annointed preacher. Whenever the Gospel is preached, God is speaking through someone.

  • Comment removed

  • You just called God a liar.

  • wow i am amazed his reward is gonna be great in heaven

  • I LOVED this mans preaching~He was truly one of the greatest ever, right up there with Billy Graham, Charles Stanley, Veron McGee.....His voice was so perfect~

  • There are very few preachers who can command your attention and speak so relative as this great man. I miss his voice in the church, but thank the Lord we have these archives

  • Thank you for sharing. If you have more, please post them. I miss him, but the power of the messages remain just as strong as when they were first given. I hope Joyce and the children are o.k. M.B.

  • GRAET I LOVE HIM SUCH GREAT PRECHER

  • I love reading Revelations, and I love hearing someone speaking on it even more, especially Pastor John Hagee and this man, Adrian Rogers.

  • do u know where i can listen to the whole lesson of revelation

  • Well, not really. I've listened to John Hagee and Adrian Rogers. If you google Revelations and each man's name you might be able to find they're recorded messages. Espesially on Hagee's website.

  • Meaning, find a CD collection to buy.

  • @Halo6406 google blue letter bible. I'm sure they have all audio in there..

  • Don't do it. Instead, Open a Bible and get a notebook. Pray that god will reveal truth to you.. then trust that he will do this as you read it.

There are lots of good teachers in this world, and many more who are false teachers. Most false teachers I have met are in the church, and leading study groups... and they have letters after their names.

A Rogers is authentic though. so is David Hocking, Charles Stanely, John McArther, and David Jeremiah.. also Chuck Swindoll.

  • Am I the only one who thinks there isn't a reason in hell to take the word of an anonymous poster on youtube, when it comes to knowing the truth about who is and who is not an "authentic" Bible scholar?

"Don't listen to Dr. So-and-so, he's FALSE and is going to hell. Listen to ME, 'sparwood8,' an anonymous internet troll with a number after my name instead of a letter, so you KNOW I know what I'm talking about!" lol
