this is gr8. I want to learn a musical intstrument, first I thought of the guitar but I wanted to learn something Indian, so flute it is. I m ready to put effort and time to learn it. So which brand of hindustani bansuri flute should i buy and how much would it cost?

Hey man,

Awesome instructional!... I got an "A sharp" Bansuri about a week ago, and I am able to produce "sounds" now! Is A a good beginners flute by the way??

Anyway, what I am having trouble with is doing the scales. I have watched some other videos on it, but it is hard to see clearly how to produce two octaves of sounds. If you could show that, that would be awesome!!
