  • CLIP MANEIRO DO MESTRE DO PUNK !

  • Cocaine's a hell of a drug

  • Close your eyes and listen to him rap. Now imagine Norm Mcdonald with a sore throat singing this song.

  • DEE DEE KING SIEMPRE EN MI CORAZÓN

    PUNK AND RAP!

  • DEE DEE ESTAVA LOUKO !

COMO BAIXISTA PUNK TUDO BLZ !

COMO RAP É UM FRACASSO TOTAL

  • one of the first white rappers? well thats sorta cool but not really.

  • I like to remember Dee Dee in The Ramones, not this shit

  • If you listen to the whole album, it's actually fairly amusing. It's cringe-worthy, especially in its execution, but it's not without some charm and he had some zany ideas going on in it.

  • This is so bad.

  • Look how honest dee dee was, where the fuck do you see that now-a-days?

  • fuu-fuu-fuu-fuu-fuu-fuu-fuu-fuu-fuck it!

  • lol Dee Dee Ramones a negro?

  • so you see the Sex Pistols already had there sound

  • @wipers86 bull shit, i read that the ramones had came to england and johnny got back stage and met them BEFORE the pistols dee dee shot speed with sid BEFORE the pistols

  • @PUNKXx666 Sid might have done drugs with Dee Dee but the Sex Pistols had been together for a few years the Ramones came to the UK in 1976 a month before the pistols first TV appearance so how could Johnny Rotten not be in the band he write the lyrics to anarchy in the UK it takes months of practice to get a song perfect

  • @wipers86 get a song perfect? you've never heard the sex pistols before.

  • @eatmeimsteak neither have you just because your a fan of the Ramones and think the Ramones created punk doesn't mean you can call the Sex Pistols awful

  • @eatmeimsteak how can you talk about anyone that blues tune you did was awful learn to play before you make out Steve Jones couldn't play or that the Pistols couldn't and there songs were perfect there never mind the bollocks album was better than any of the Ramones albums and guess what I am a Ramones fan so you can bitch all you want and make out the Ramones got the Pistols playing because you read it in some book but it ain't true

  • @PUNKXx666 you see the Ramones didn't come to England and get these bands started they already had bands like the Sex Pistols and the Clash the New York dolls were a big influence

  • @wipers86 as were the ramones, i don't care what you say

  • RIP Macho Man!~

  • it just boggles my mind how someone of world knowledge such as Dee has friends or people that refered to him quote "sounding like a Black Person" Rap is counter culture just as much as punk and when i think of punk i don't think of "white guys" and well when i get this Time Machine tuned in i'm gonna make sure that no one forgets that Hip Hop New Wave and Punk Rock were and are all 3 the same thing.

  • This is EXACTLY what happens when you're rich and have no talent.. Kinda like... Kelly Osbourne.

  • Dee Dee is talented he wrote alot of the Ramones songs and without the Ramones they're would be no Punk Rock as you know it.

Sex Pistols would have never even existed.

  • @DeadJ0ker27 For sure. Dee Dee wrote the most out of all of them. Even after he wasn't in the band anymore, they still used his music. Not to mention Johnny Ramone nasically stopped writing since Dee Dee was the only one he liked to write with. Johnny and Joey couldn't stand each other.

  • @DeadJ0ker27

"I meant *there would be no punk rock.."

  • @DeadJ0ker27 actually the Sex Pistols started off in 1972 and had there first TV appearance in 1976 so that's not true the Ramones and Sex Pistols came along the same year to the music scene who cares even if the Ramones came a few months before both bands helped create it no matter what

  • @wipers86

i remember hearing a story that the ramones did a tour of the uk and influenced many of the bands to come including the clash and the pistols. And that the pistols were actually afraid to meet the ramones cause they thought they were a gang. It might have been an interview with dee dee. i cant remember. Just because the Pistols formed in 72 doesn't mean they had the same sound.

The actual origins of punk i've still yet to figure out there are so many protopunk bands and so.

  • Comment removed

  • @wipers86

Yeah i hear what you're saying and you do make a good point.

  • @DeadJ0ker27 thnx man I believed all that as well when I watched end of the century and then when I found out the sex pistols performed only a month later realized it couldn't be true

  • he's just a terrible rapper.

  • @StabbyMcButterPants hahah no dick!! this is what happens when ur a innovative fuck up and co write for the worlds most loved punk bands, and he foresees the approaching genre of rap beibng potencially huge and getting in on it . . kelly asbourne was born into millions of dollars and is a fat blob cunt, , u got it backwards good day sir

  • @StabbyMcButterPants

Dee Dee Ramone was at no point in his life what anyone would call rich.

As for his talent, he may not have been the most gifted musician in the world, but he gave his all, was honest and he knew who he was, which is much more than can be said for you.

BTW, your name is fucking retarded.

  • jajajajajja....

  • "i coulnt do rap, i was truing. im not a negro...i dont now what it is. just cant do it"

  • no hablo espanol

  • 1:20 "Great! I'm a negro too!"

    1:41 "I'm not good enough. I'm not a negro."

Haha, oh Dee Dee, you make me laugh.

  • "I'm not a negro, or something" haha. It took Dee Dee a while to figure that out. Meanwhile, in 1976, the Ramones were the least bluesy, least funky, hard rock band ever. Even Sabbath and the Stooges had obvious black roots. Good for them, but the Ramones happened to have exactly none, and that made them unique. But Dee Dee's standing in the Spotlight "rap" album is actually a fun, weird, punk record, if you pretend he wasn't trying to be a serious rapper (embarassing!)...

  • 1:06 jeez, i never knew johnny had teeth like that?!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa funky

  • Isn't rap kind of the exact opposite of punk rock? I don't mean the music but the lifestyle of both sides? Hip Hop is all over the radio nowadays and imagine how rich their producers are. How rich is Li'l Wayne and Eminem now?

Rap and Hip Hop everywhere.. I don't like modern hip-hop, I'm more into punk rock but I do know Public Enemy and a few old-school rappers and bands and they're cool for me.

I wish these guys were still around - especially the Ramones.

  • In terms of lyrics, 80's rap and 80's punk/hardcore are very much the same.. but in terms of lifestyle and music, i guess ur right..

  • @EuGJaMMeR I like rap but my main is 60's and early 70's rock, Punk and good modern day music. Metal is the oppsite of Punk

  • Punk and Rap arent opposite. theyre the same thing.

    Loud. Abrasive. Anti-establishment.

calling Lil Wayne rap would be the same thing as me calling Fall Out Boy punk. and how rich are the producers of these cookie cutter mainstream pop-punk bands? plenty rich.

if you want to make relevent comparisons, use relevent examples.

NWA is one of the greatest "punk rock" bands. they just happened to play music in the style of rap.

  • Dude, you can't compare rap and punk using just ideology especially when a lot of punk bands - including early ones like Ramones, Toy Dolls, Adicts - actually weren't "anti-establishment" or abrasive. Bad comparison... and to go as far as saying they're the same thing and NWA is a punk rock band is just downright ignorant. You could argue that ALL rock bands were anti-establishment. The Beatles certainly were. So was Elvis. Are they punk too? Are they the same as NWA?

  • nice comparation!

  • lol wtf bulimic and anorexic??? okaaaaaaaaaay... you're a dude....

  • LOL, Dee Dee Ramone will always be my favorite Ramone, but I still laugh my ass off to this video, I admit he's got balls to try it out even if he knew it was terrible

  • "I'm a negro too..." XD

    Love you Dee Dee

    always

  • i don't care i still love dee dee

  • He lived here in Argentine and used to hangin` out thereabout, sipping booze from the bottle how grosso=idol

  • yes, the absolute best raper!

  • He is the best raper i ever heard! LOL.

  • he was one of the coolest junkies on the planet...gotta admit. it's a good thing most junkies aren't as cool as Dee Dee...parents wouldn't be able to keep thier kids away from the stuff.

  • what is the name 1:07

  • 1:07? Surely you don't mean Johnny Ramone....

  • R.I.P. Deedee I love you even if you were a failed rapper

  • @182stratman But he was a exellent bassist.

  • wh do you ask if he was a real Ramone?

  • yes he is a REAL ramone he wrote all their best songs and played bass and did some vocals he is my favorite ramone!

  • Not only real, he was the best!

  • allein das video zu funkyman war schon cool , aber dee dee als rapper ist schon fetzig ´

    also ich fand es super

  • Dee Dee was the only one of them who had a heart. I miss him

  • dee dee king is suck but dee dee ramone rocks

  • He was a true NYC character...as wacky as he was, he was adorable.

  • he wasent cool anyway

  • wow gay shit

  • RIP DEE DEE FA FA FA FA FUnKY

  • couldn't get any whiter than that.

  • No DeeDee, you aren't a "negro". But you ARE a badass.

  • Joey and Dee Dee is the hottest of the ramones<3 rip my guys<33

  • Yeah Dee Dee is too awesome to be a racist

  • what. the. fuck.

  • He was high as fuck!! R.I.P.

  • LMAO. Oh Dee Dee ;)

  • i'm a negro too? oh dee dee.

  • A lot of people use\used the term " negro" in the 80s to refer to anyone who felt they were being held down because of their social position and poverty, etc., not just if they were black. It wasn't common, but it was used in this way.

When Dee Dee said " I'm a negro too" he probably just meant because he grew up in Queens on the streets. I can actually see how early Hip Hop and early Punk were similar.

  • haha thanks :)

  • well i cant stand hip hop so much, but dee dee ramone is such a cool dude and its like he kicks rappers asses ive said it before but i mean it! rip dee dee ramone, joey ramone and johnny ramone<2 1-2-3-4, Hey Ho Lets GO! GABBA GABBA HEY! THE RAMONES FOREVER! GODFATHERS OF PUNK!<3

  • er war so hammer auch als rapper

das lied funkyman ist schon richtig hammer muss man sagen

    dee dee 4 live

    r.i.p. dee dee

  • How ironic. He was making rap music and using the language of racism.

Many people involved with the NY Punk scene were racist. That's just a fact.
