It is a shame though that it took until 1992 for his number 22 jersey to be retired at Plymouth High School! Not sure why they had to wait until he was loved by thousands.
Scott Skiles... Ma homeboy from Plymouth, Indiana! Kicking butt now with da Bucks. Almost beat Celtics tonight in the first month of the season. Watch this from 1990 as Scott sets the still standing NBA record with 30 assists in one game!!
@kontrariankid actually he is from La Porte Indiana, he was born in La Porte, lived in La Porte till he was 13, moved to Walkerton Indiana till he was 15, then to Plymouth. He always says La Porte is his home town, Plymouth was his high school
@allesee Cool. Thanks for the reminder.. true, it's all there on Wikipedia. From the time that I knew about him in 1980, he was all Plymouth Pilgrim. I drove past his [parent's] house often. Seems that I used to see a Scott Skiles sign in his yard. He was and is very loved in Plymouth. LaPorte is cool too though. I actually lived there for two years when I was a child.. may have been around the corner from him! In my mind, he's as great as Larry Bird. He loves the game like a true Hoosier.
u obviously dont know much. skiles is a great coach, its just that these pampered lil babies in pro sports cant handle tough coaches anymore, ya know, the old athletes didnt make as much and were so much tougher and worked harder. bunch of sissys
