@fleepit Indeed. Good point. You misspelled bastards, though. And there are a-plenty. God must be a music fan. He's taken enough of them in their prime. Jeff's right up there at the top of the heap.

I had the honor of standing right next to him when I was a bouncer at a club while he played. I had to be next to him to make sure he didn't fall off the stage or so no one came up to touch him or anything. He and his band were playing a concert across the street at Shea's concert hall and they came into the club afterwards. After a drink or two they kicked the headline band that night off stage and played for about an hour! So freak'n awesome. One of my best memories when I was a bouncer....
Most folks haven't heard Jeff playing '20s jazz on trumpet. Too bad! I saw him playing gypsy jazz with Grande Bouche Sextet, opening for Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks. Dee-lightful!

Great feeling as usual. Jeff must be one of the greatest guitarists this far...

Like Johnny Carson said " If life were fair, Elvis would be alive and all the impersonators would be dead"
Or as Rodney Dangerfield said " Live is a bowl of pits"
Meanwhile The sucky guys still live

If someone had touched him you probably would have kicked their ass. That would have been cool to watch!
