Hey Sean, i have a Tamiya TL-01, with a HPI Mustang body, now i dont have an R/C shop anywhere close to where i live, so most of my parts are cleverly crafted from everyday stuff, or ordered online. for drift tires, i took some old rims, and glued on some 1 1/8" wide, 2" I.D. PVC pipe. works like a dream, and costs pennies a tire. hope this may be of some help in the future. awesome vid btw. keep them coming
try to only use half throttle as this still makes the wheels spin itsaves battery and it looks good it's also easier to control but other than that keep it up and you will be good in no time. also try to get a few mates involved and start up your own club or join one and use the info and advice from others
setup an oval track marked by anything. drift around the end and see how fast you can or how tight you can get it. trust me it helps. also doing donut with variations of the steering and throttle helps. good luck as it is im new to this too.
dude says its his first time out so not bad if its true

bamfireastound 2 years ago
ESC stands for: ''Electric Speed Controller''.it controls the speed when it receives signals from the transmitter

you mean you could control the throttle unlike those stupid cheap rc cars that goes max rpm in one push of the button? thanks
