like the video...just a small tip...when you line your lip, use a lip brush to blend it a little and your liner wont look too harsh. otherwise...kudos to you :-)

I recently bought fresh brew but it looks grey on me even with lip liner, so I'm thinking about trying Siss. Is it lighter than freshbrew? Also why do you have to put gloss over the lipstick? Yeah which is true but you should give it a try. Your lips already have that dark depth to it so why add the extra. I say dont knock it to ya try it :-)

@cynique46 I have, that's exactly why I am saying this lol and based on experience with other clients. not only in regards to the discoloration in the lips, but using a lipliner in my opinion will step your lip color up from looking so-so, to ONpoint, and gives you more precision and definition. it also helps make up for those of us who have uneven lip shapes, lipliner helps you manipulate what our natural lips lack

I think the chestnut lip liner is a little too dark for nude lips. I think a lighter brown complements the nude look but you don't have to use brown, you can use a nude liner and that works for me. I saw Nia Long on a magazine cover with pinkish nude lips and she did not have a dark liner. Nude lips were popular in the 60's and I saw this picture of Priscilla Presley even though she is white and don't have to use a liner but she used a light brown liner that complemented the nude look.

@cynique46 everyone's complexion is different. personally my lips are darker on the outside so I HAVE to wear a dark liner or else it looks milky and chalky around my lips. it all just depends on the person and what works for them.

I'm a nw45 and I've tried to find a red lipstick, didn't turn out well. i went to my local mac counter (i wasn't wearing foundation at the time, maybe that's why it didn't turn out so great lol.) i was assisted, got home and i looked like i should ve been in a casket lol. you know how the funeral home puts that awful makeup on someone....yeah :S.

Absolutely love all of your tutorials; they are amazing.

So, I love wearing red lipstick though I'm so self conscious that it either is the wrong shade or looks to "clownish" that I just wipe it off a few minutes after I apply it.

I was wondering if it was possible for you to do either a red lip tutorial or an entire look that includes a red lip.

Oh! and also if you could do a video that was based on drugstore products used as alternatives to Mac eye shadows. That would be awesome!

When it comes to red lips hun, everyone's undertones are different, what works for me or someone else won't necessarily work for you, and vice versa. something that looks good on you might not necessarily look good on me...red lips are kind of tricky like that, but I like using Diva by MAC :)

as for drugstore alternatives, I can't really endorse something I don't use, all I really have is MAC, and a few NYX products, but only their jumbo pencils. A lot of drug store brands test on animals

Hey, I love ALL of your looks, and you're gorgeous, that's why I think I can ask you for tips when it comes to makeup. My problem is that sometimes when I apply lipgloss or simply lip balm and think I'm taking all the precautions to making sure my lips are moist, I find that after a while, I get a white line on my inner lips, as time goes by (if I haven't seen a mirror yet), it gets thicker... any tips? :S

2) i just discovered MAC's "Touch" lipstick and it has become my absolute favorite. it is my go to nude, everyday lip color. I'm an NW 45 and it just looks amazing.

3) 3N lipglass/gloss (whatever) is also a go to. it's limited edition but its being re-released in warm and cozy his year.

U gotta try Hue-pale pink use Cork liner chestnut wud work too it's just so dark. High Tea-pinky brown nude perfect everyday color no liner needed just top with gloss. myth is more suitable for fairer skin types! siss has a bit more color to it, try fresh brew also, it's creamier and moisterizes better :)
