This song is really good, although somewhat underappreciated by some.
Brad was the heart and soul of Sublime, and it will often be imitated, never duplicated. That said, Sublime with Rome is still better than 90% of the crap out there.

@beetlebum24 Rome's good, but he's got a totally different style than Bradley. They shouldn't have taken the name Sublime with Rome, because it's not like Sublime. The music is going in a different direction and even if Rome can cover the songs, they aren't his songs. Those are Sublime's songs. Sw/R should've just wrote new shit (instead of just doing covers on their debut tour) and made a new band name and they would be getting a lot more respect.

sublime with rome isnt trying to live up to the sublime standards. sublime WITH ROME indicates a huge fucking difference. rome will never be able to fill brads shoes, and sublime will never exist as it was again, but rome's still a kick ass musician and has a sweet voice. as far as Im concerned, sublime w/ rome is as close to the old sublime as were ever gonna get, and its also a totally new band as well. yours truly maintains that relationship to sublime, but its still its own awesome creation.

In my opinion, The band shouldn't be called Sublime with Rome. That's just sad.. Because Brad was basically sublime ( did all the song writing, mixing etc..). Dude, I hate where Sublime w/ Rome is going.... Their new album is dropping the 12th of this month, and they're featuring Wiz Khalifa. I can't speak for Brad, but I'm pretty sure he'd be fucking pissed. I love Sublime so much. I can easily say they've changed my life, and it just sucks to see Brad and Eric try to do this.
But hey, who knows? Maybe it'll be good. Maybe it'll be awesome. Not a lot is certain, but I DO know one thing without a doubt--it will not be the same without Brad.

I think this was made on the demo tape "Jah Won't Pay the Bills," and they put it onto SHS after Bradly died, and for a good reason. This song is really good, although somewhat underappreciated by some.

Bradley owned the name, wrote the songs, played guitar AND sang. He owned Skunk Records and carried Bud and Eric on his shoulders from slums to fame. "Sublime with Rome" is bullshit and Bud and Eric proved themselves to be two-timing dicks by fighting Brad's family in court to use the Sublime name, despite Bradley's signed contract stating against those exact actions. You know it's all for the money. They'd never rake in the cash like they are without the Sublime name brand.

They can continue to persue their career in music without the Sublime name. They made a legal promise to Bradley that they broke behind his dead back. All further details of the matter aside, you just don't do that.
I'd like Sublime back as much as the next diehard fan, but the band was meant to stop when Bradley left. All of them agreed on it from the beginning, because he owned Sublime, both literally and relatively.
