I don't mean like an RPG, because obviously this game is very straight-forward. Actually, when i come to think of it, it's not like KOTOR, but more like a 3rd person version of bioshock. and I just said Gears of War because of the gore lol

It could be because I'm watching and not playing, but this isn't the least bit scary. You got to safely watch and get to know the first monster through a plate glass window, and then there was no surprise to them at all. You always hear them coming, or they appear far enough away for you to see them well in time. The only vaguely creepy thing was that the tram cart had a Silent-Hill-ish noise when repaired.

This game starts up downplaying the horror. Even if it gets worse, it's already ruined.

i dunno..i mean its good an all, but its just not scary? i've played much older games that felt more like "survival/horror" this is just missing something, and some ppl are right the whole situation SHOULD context wise from issacs point of view, but well after seeing S.T.A.L.K.E.R and how it creates atmosphere and has those "out of no where moments" dead space kinda sucks in comparison...personally im waiting for Metro 2033, check it out
