Doesn't the electrical tape leave sticky stuff on the iPod? I mummified my calculator with electrical tape, and a year later it started peeling, and all the sticky shit kept sticking to my fingers.

@AdobeExcel ya it does leave some residue, but the back is made of metal, so it can be polished agin with not too much effort.

thanks man! i did this to my 3rd gen ipod touch and its pretty cool! i just outlined the buttons with a marker and they still work! i cut the tape for the head phones and the charger and i put a apple sticker on the chrome side then put the tape on, it shows up so i outlined that so u could see it better and it looks sick! i used black tape though...
