  • why do you use gi?

  • @lololilolalo I think because its kickboxing or taekwondo. This ceratinly is not muay thai

  • @killarmy75 i know, but its not so common to watch kick-boxing guys in gi, in fact in my gym we dont use gi, just the team`s t-shirt

  • What are the categories of kick boxing?? Does it go by belts?

  • @southparkfan432 weight

  • Danny Mcbride is the ONLY trainer I need

  • You sir are a bad ass. Those strikes are crisp!

  • Highly unlikely :) It all depends on gender, height, weight and age. The lees you weigh, the less you burn, compared to a larger person. To burn 830 kcal in an hour you would have to be punching and kicking non-stop, no breaks at all.

  • freestyle kickboxing do have belts kickboxing don't have belts thay r 2 diffrnet things

  • why is he wearing a belt kickboxing dont hav any belts

  • @SlyCooper325 they do lol.

  • @SlyCooper325 kickboxing is graded in belts i think your thinking of muay thai

  • @skateonsurf nope there is no such thing as belts in kickboxing or in muay thai if kickboxing has belts it means its freestyle. hear someone claim to have any color of belt in kickboxing they are being scammed by someone who made something up that is not REAL martial arts.

  • @SlyCooper325 i cant agree more about the statement of REAL martial arts aha but kickboxing is ranked in belts as it descends from PKA whish was full contact karate and karate is graded in belts research it if you dont believe me my trainer is current midweight champion of the world and he is a blackbelt i know muay thai is not graded in belts

  • @SlyCooper325 because they martial artists

  • @RonSchinners so and whats that got to prove im a martial artist too

  • between the hook and cheb he doesnt pull hes cover back? thats noob

  • why are they wearing gi that makes no sense gi is for jiujitsu not kickboxing

  • He's right handed..

  • Damn those kicks look lethal.. I want to take up kickboxing maybe after high school, or during the summer would be better !!

  • kicks like a girl

  • @SuperHater99 this is only a demo

  • fucking retard cant kick good

  • @mehamut ur a bitch, show everyone how to do it pussy.

  • idiots

  • this is really good, I have been thinking of taking up kickboxing but have been dissuaded by the constant thought of not being able to master the basics, but it seems quite simple if I put the effort in. Thank you very much for uploading the video.

  • @Hendrix1436 bro its the most fun thing ever. its all about the environment though. if u find a gym that has great coaches that make it fun to learn and u start feeling comfortable, it will become a big part of your life. not only is kickboxing a super great way to stay in shape but with some time you'll be able to defend yourself too, even if youre not doing it for competition. good luck!

  • wow i could do this until i took an arrow to the ankle

  • why is the training combined with knees here, aint that forbidden in KB to use knees?

  • @ajaj123able not in k-1 :)

  • @ajaj123able not in k-1 :)

  • really liking the jab, hook, round kick good ideas

  • for the roundhouse kick you should pull your leg back and twist into it more that way the power of the mawashigeri (round kick) will be much much stronge. very strong punches tho very good.

  • its not very good...he is not rotating his hips and legs, but the rest is very good

  • Thank you!

  • Nice pad-work guys,I'll use this. What is wrong with all u people writin mad stuff by the way??! Complete strangers arguing wi each other thru YouTube! Mental.

  • thanks for this guys its gonna help

  • technique is good apart from the left roundhouse is coriographed

  • @clarky4492 The whole thing is choreographed, I believe you meant telegraphed. However in a fight that move allows for a feint and can lead into setting your opponent up for a different strike. Also it's very hard to generate kicking power with your lead leg thus making the shuffle necessary. Even if it's blocked your opponent is still going to have to account for that strike.

  • it looks like marvel vs capcom 3 "misions" lol

  • Is he a lefty or righty?

  • Pues no solo es golpear y patear,si no también te ponen ejercicios de condición física, por eso también es un poco cansado xD.

  • I learnt his when i went out on a tranining thingie:3

  • I love the sound effects~

  • @DropShotish Sound effects? I dont think you can call them that

  • esse cara é tenso man

  • bad boxing skills :D look at the first punches.. hand goes down!

  • The only thing I'm concerned about here is the stance. Should his upper body be turned a bit to protect his sternum? And shouldn't the rotation from the punches start in the legs? I think that when you become pro then the complete basic for beginners are left behind but it's okay because once you get to that level it's no longer necessary. He hits pretty hard though 0.0

  • If he had kicked a little stronger at 3:20 he would have broken that coach´s elbow

  • WHAT IS THIS ?///

  • faz um mes q fasso kickboxing e essas tecnicas sao mto boas

  • That guy was super fast and strong, I also liked the techniques, I'll practice those during practice thanks!

  • Very nicely done, it looks more like san shou or westernized MT than trad Amer kick boxing, but still it covers most of the basics and in a way that would be street effective.

    Very nicely done indeed.

    Osu,

    David

  • To see more awesome kickboxing vitit my channel...you wont regret it!!! :-)

  • bring karate or kickboxing you name it .....its all fun and healthy

    super

  • @THEpillows100 Do you honestly believe Kickboxing is better than Karate, all styles of Karate? If they want to move on further with their training why not go for the 2nd 3rd 4th dans? So you see, you fall flat on your face, AGAIN... FUCKING DUMBASS....

  • @macktheknife888 The funny thing is... You can do Karate all day long, but in a real life situation.. I bet you won't put all of that into play. I do Mixed Martial Arts... And Muay Thai dominates all that.

  • @THEpillows100 Blackbelt or first dan in Japanese simply means first step. So they get to the first step, and then quit. Who's a fucking dumbass now......

  • Hardyleaf123. Wipe your chin mate cause your dribbling shit. You wouldn't know the difference between karate and kickboxing, when you get a black belt in full contact karate then you can talk all the shut you want. So all you've learnt is kick, punch, knees and elbows? What about combinations, take downs, ground submissions, locks, holds, oh and respect!

  • this video isnt just to teach you how to fight. people use kickboxing also as an exercise at the gym. its really good for warming up, since its not boring like running on the treadmill.

  • I like the respect they put in this sport, not like the other sports

  • Here in the Philippines Kickboxing is seen as a non martial art that lacks discipline. It's quite simply for the failed Karate student who lacks the discipline to move up in the Karate world, or the bar brawler who only wants to start a fight. It is interesting to note that Kickboxing has no overall governing body, just countless number of small independent groups of failed Karate students calling themselves champions but in truth they would rather go to a bar and start a brawl.

  • @macktheknife888 I do kickboxing and its not because i failed karate, i could have done any martial art but i chose it, i dont want to start a brawl i want to be able ro fight when needed. i useto do boxing but moved to kickboxing instead because in fights i dont want to be limited to hands. all people do in karate is make weird noises and wave there hands in weird sequences. kickboxing is about Discipline, Strength and being able to fight, i have lernt many punches and many kicks so screw you.

  • @macktheknife888 WTF are you talking about?

  • i dont get why people are hating?

  • kickboxing burns 830 calories in an hour. WHY AM I JUST DISCOVERING THIS? *crawls back in cave*

  • @yogurltrizz Damn I got my first session in just over 2 hours and I'm starving. Better start raiding the cupboards for calories!

  • @yogurltrizz lmfao just made my night

  • It looks silly because 1. it's basic 2. The're demonstrating; which means they will go slower and can't improv like in a real fight.

  • @kirby8934 it's enough the demonstrate de main idea. you can use it at your own speed and power to develop.

  • I pratice Karaté and maybe im going to start kickboxing, and continuing to do karaté

  • Why do people watch this. Most people suck at fighting, and if u meet a guy who is a good fighter, u are just unlucky..

  • @SirkelDesign That means that most of the people WATCHING this video sucks at fighting.

  • @IceYourPimpHand Most of people can't handle 1 hit in the face, so it's just to get the first hit.

  • its just a fuckin joke ... how lame are those moves ... like my sister was on her first week

  • @Ritsyke its funny cause youd get broken if you stepped in the ring with any kick boxer, let alone people like my self who have been doing that and karate for 10 years at the same time

  • @cheaniggachea well ... if youve been doin it for 10 years ... you should say im right ;)

just look at his moves ... so dumb and ugly.

i was doin kempo for 3 years ... (had to stop it cuz we dont had money -.-). in these days i had no proper opponent ............. but today ... pff ... i got a lil belly ^^ and im so lazy -.-

  • @Ritsyke Maybe thats because it says basics...

  • Is it just me or does his jab have a tell? He lifts his leading leg off of the floor just before throwing it out.

  • Awesome! Cheers for the upload.

  • You have a good fighter, he went at a high gear for your entire video.

  • I love you guys!!! I'm 17 and I want to take up kickboxing. Now I'm training volleyball and swimming, but they don't waste my energy enough, so I think this is the sport for me! Thank you so much for these videos so I can practice a bit before I sign up!

  • @SashkaBlack I'm 17 as well and at work i was like "i wanna box" so i asked my friend and he said to try kickboxing. It's be a nice spin on dancing and swimming ha ha

  • thanks for posting - good video

  • Chuck Norris can beat him!

  • shit kick ass in a fight

  • I dont want to fight that guy

  • kickboxing useing knee?:D

  • the hooking technique is wrong....he has to keep his hand straight not sideways

  • @a68593 Depends what you're hitting at at what angle. If you keep it flat you can get a boxers fracture very easily.

  • @a68593 Whats wrong with that? Id like you to tell me that it really makes a difference when someone punches you in the face with a hook.

  • Is there a difference from a Kick Boxing to Boxing gloves?

  • @Bun9876543210 no there's no difference , just the MMA gloves are different ! gd luck

  • Not a bad basic workout

  • now i can kick my sister in the back of the head :D

  • Do you have to be already good at punching or know how to kick and stuff or can you join kickboxing without knowing anything?

lol when he punches it,it sounds like the sound played on the drums after someone says a lame joke :P

  • @DBZSSJgirl

Kickboxing is the same like any other martial arts, there are beginners and more advanced.

  • @DBZSSJgirl lol you're funny

  • does anyone know a site whre it teaches you kick boxing im eager to learn but my parents wont pay for classes for me isnt that unfair:( well i guess i can train with my brothers my dad says its to dangerous just because im a girl but i love fighting so why cant i do kick boxing

  • thats how yu make someone piss

  • @TheTimeWarp42 that's the difference between a kickboxing and a Mui Thai kick

  • @rambohunt1 easy to move in i would say ya know . maybe ??

  • Why the hell is he kicking with his foot instead of his shin.

  • @TheTimewarp42 because this is kickboxing not muay thai

  • does anyone has saw rocky just watch n learn kick boxing

  • @shubhammuk Go to school;learn how to properly make a sentence & come back and rewrite that jiberish you fouled out on this video

  • Ihate my mom she wont let me go kick boxing one minute she says i can go and then the day before training she tells me to cancel it arrghh

  • @kurdman12345678 Go roundhouse kick her?

  • @kurdman12345678 Were is your father?

  • jose careca vs zé cabelinho

  • I can do this too:D

  • which martial arts teaches you all the brick breaking?

  • @googleflex Karatee.

  • @googleflex karate-do tkdo

  • I've been kickboxing for a while, and the first thing we learned was to not use the knee. It is not allowed in a fight...

  • @ebridgehome That depends on the style of kickboxing you are doing.

  • i want to learn this shit so bad

  • @xHaTcHeTmAnNx420x hahaha yea man me too

  • @xHaTcHeTmAnNx420x fuck, me too o_o

  • Do Taekwondo and boxing it will help you in kickboxing

  • @tank1989z

Japanese kick boxing does allow knees, e.g. under K1 rules; although, I do agree that they should make it clear that in American kick boxing it's not allowed so people won't get the wrong idea

  • i got it so people would leave me allone

  • whats withe shuffles before he switches his kiccs?

  • @taijeron23 feinting for a roundhouse or front kick i guess. at least that's what my purpose is when i'm shuffling :3

  • @BlackMarchen: i see, but if your gonna kick'em after the shuffle you lose power, GREAT if your gonna set up for hard punches but not for kicks but then every fighter has there own unique. (to each his own)

  • @taijeron23 yep. whichever works for anyone. :D all you need is a proper recovery stance I guess. ><

  • GUYS! he needs to twist his hips into the punch that way he has the wieght of his whole body going in to the enemy...

  • he's good

  • I am a Muay Thai fighter and I think kickboxing can go toe to toe with us

  • this is nice

  • wtf are u talking about kickboxers could use thier knees any way for self defence

  • in kickboxing the guard tends to open a little bit more than in boxing...it gets more difficult because you have to coordinate with the legs as well

  • AmeriCANs fail so hard at kickboxing...

  • @2ossy there not american...

  • @Xfrond I didnt say they fail, I sayd Amercans fail..... But they fail too.

  • i'm a 21 year old female and i'm 5"7 am I to old and to small to start?

  • @ixcanxdream

no ur not too old or small. I wen i was 20 and im 5'7. Theres people in their 40s and 50s who do kickboxing. I say go 4 it as u gain self defence, confidence and a full body workout etc.

  • Really usefull to see someone else doing this, ive just started kickboxing and am trying to get faster combos, great demonstrating, i dont have much power in my kicks yet but just focussing on accuracy and speed now :D

    tyvm

  • open guard.

  • alright guys well i don't know boxing or anything, but if I was left handed which of my feet would be in front and do they feet switch at anytime

    cheers

  • @nerdfreakloser in kickboxing you have two stances, your left and right. it switches form time to time to confuse your opponent. but if you are left handed your right foot would be in front.

  • @stuten1 K thank you.

  • @nerdfreakloser Your right leg.

  • In kick boxing do you need to do things like in aikido? (Speak in japonese, stay on your knees when the sensei go in the dojo?)

  • @naoseiqualeh nope, all you need to do is to train yourself. no japanese crap.

  • nice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^

  • on .54 is int it when you punch right you kick with the left?

  • a MACHINE

  • I want to learn this but i don't have the equipment and the money to go to a class. Jeez.

  • Nice your good wow

  • Is that vladamir Putin?

  • thxx for the tips broda :D

  • hey with that round house kick shouldnt you kick with you shin for more power????

(thats what i was taught in jujisu)plz answer lol

  • @pandalover8673 It depends on what martial arts your training for. Like in sanda(Kung Fu) you kick with the feet , but in kyokushin and muay thai you kick with the shin.

  • Curious if this is supposed to be "Western" kickboxing. Also are you supposed to lean your upper body back when you throw your roundhouse kicks in this style of kb?

    Thanks.

  • jimmy smith? is that the guy from fight quest? O_O

  • amazing GREAT work guys... I am get myself into this VERY soon.

    again thanks much!

  • thanks a lot for this video, helped me a lot

  • fucking awesome, my son is 3 and is following this like most 3 tear olds follow Barney!

  • I can't help but notice how awesome the punches are especially the jab and straight.

  • Great drills. I like the switch kicks, interesting change in the rhythm of the blows.

  • can you please let me know why on occasion, he does a little stamp before he kicks?

  • @warrenvazquez

To "set" himself and catch full balance and momentum to launch his kick.

  • i wish i could learn this so i could protectet myself

  • OMG that guy is quite fast, this video shows that you don't just have to be strong, but you have to concentrate 100%

  • thats so bad ass:)

  • I'm thinking of starting Kickboxing anyone got any advice: what should I take with me, should I do it alone or with someone else etc.

  • @Conorhstone as long as your instructior is good he will control the class, and in my club anyone can spar with anyone regardless of skill cos were all mates. i spar with my instructor (second dan and England leightweight champion WAKA) and get beaten but i also spar with beginners and a 6'9" blue belt scoucer who does not hold back, but the better your opponent, the faster you learn.

  • this is good ...nice

    thanks..

  • Interesting. I'm thinking of starting kick-boxing, and this video surely served as an inspirational source to me. Thanks for posting it!
