Does anyone know the lyrics that come after, "If we go down to the lake, Don't you worry we won't stay late. I know you can hardly wait to be...Sittin' by the fireside _____________________________"? I listened to it a million times and still cannot make it out. Thanks.
This music is like old american cartoons in general... if someone notices it's any good, no one will be able to freely use it w/o harrassment of some sort again. pray for obscurity kids.
Micheal Lloyd the voice behind 3/4 of the Cats was a versatile studio guy. Up there with Spector, Curb and Rubin, this singer, songwriter, musician and producer was famous before age 25. This and the other cat song "Go" could have charted under his own name. Why were such good rockers waisted on some "So-So feline Millie Vanilli", who wern't that great to begin with. I always prefered the Banana Splits.

@edsutube1000 "Sittin' by the fireside, as the embers burn way down low". The line isn't very singable, so they kind of stumble over the words.

Kitty Jo looks so sweet in this video, and the song is such a charming song, even if it is what some would call "Bubblegum Music".
I love this video. Thanks for posting, friend.

Sounds like it could be a track from the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" album.

I get a feeling that since all of the songs are owned by Mike Curb, that may not be likely.
