  • Imagine what this Rock would do to cena

  • I'd do anythin' to see the rocks hand raised as winner at wrestlemania... anythin!!

  • This was the time when he looked best and performed best. His prime. Nowadays he is there just to help WWE out of crap and boost Cena´s popularity. And as The Rock´s biggest fan Im very angry that he is going to loose and he will- because that is only sensible thing that WWE can do. But I want my Champ to say IT DOESN´T MATTER WHAT VINCE WANT ME TO DO! and stick Cena´s head up Mcmahon´s candy ass.

  • This is one of his best themes and is better than his current theme but i miss the "HA!" quote

  • Fucking Classic Rock.

  • BOOTS TO ASSES!

  • My Favorite Rock Theme Song I Always Loved It Because Of Wrestlemania 2000 on N64 I Loved Just Sitting Around and Listening to Theme Songs

  • dovaneone is gonna get the rock bottom special and cena gonna get the smackadown layed on his candy ass

  • lol barck says

  • Rocky Rocky Rocky!

  • The Rock says......I got my candy ass beat at Wrestlemania by John Cena.

  • @DaVaneOne DONT TALK ABOUT FRUITY PEBBLES HERE

  • 4 people didn't smell what the Rock was cookin', and got the smack laid down on their candy asses.

  • 0:06 best part :D

  • this is his best one

  • 4 people had too much strudel in their mouth

  • Look, everyone, The rock and Austin are one the same level, it was just austin was a star first, so he got louder pops

  • The 4 dislikes are from DX

  • i know my roll. i t has bacon in it.

  • Legends Of Wrestlemania

  • @supersinghish That game was awesome.

  • @darksuperk95

I still play it, just for this theme

  • one of my fav rock matches was the i quit match at royal rumble vs mandkind. that was classic.

  • @TheSilentOrchestra ain't mad. You see big letters and lots of exclamation points?

  • @PUNISHERWarzone87 you mad bro?

  • The best theme of The Rock!!!

  • Jabroni

  • @200damary Stone Cold is better. 2-1 at mania against The Rock. Overall between the 2 of em Austin has beaten The Rock more then The Rock has beaten him.

  • @PUNISHERWarzone87 rock > austin,

everything about the rock was and still is better. wrestling = fake so a 2-1 mania win aint really serious. its all about being entertained. and the ROCK mastered that art.

so just know your role and SHUT your mouth. kthxbi

  • john cena was a cheap replacement for the rock

  • @KingFrankieD He wasn't his replcaement at all.

  • Love the beat in the background. But better with his current.

  • back then the rock says. fuck the competition...fuck the fans..and fuck the world. the rock is above all..and u know what? we all loved him for it

  • The Peoples Champion.

  • I like this rock theme better than the other ones

  • In my opinion, this is the Rock's best entrance theme. The more well-known one that starts with "If ya smelllll... what the Rock... is cookin'!" is obviously iconic, but this one just sounds cooler, more suave and cocky. Before Rock became the super popular, funny megastar of the 2000 era, he was a very arrogant-but-cool-as-ice character, and I remember when he would walk out with this steady strut, so full of bravado. This song was absolutely perfect for that. This is the epitome of The Rock.

  • @JosiahPlummer1988 what do you think about the rock's hollywood theme

  • @1998ddp

That's a great theme, as well. I'll say that it fit Rock's Hollywood heel persona perfectly.

  • thumbs up if the rock loses at wm28, u turn ur tv sideways...dust it off and never watch this candy ass shit again

  • almost better than the fifth.

  • This is truely one of my favorite rock themes

  • @eltaylo81788 next to Stone Cold, you damn right.

  • @PUNISHERWarzone87 rock is better

  • there will never..AND I MEAN NEVER...be another presence in the WWE like the rock

  • This is my fav Rock theme...Look the class and Charisma!!

  • i love this the rock theme

  • I love how the instruments are played in this beat. The beat goes "Lanky lanky lanky lanky lanky lanky lanky chicki bow wow

  • @jddjjddj2008 i always thought it sounded like a car breaking down lmao, but i like the theme nonetheless

  • Triple H as "The Crock"

    X-Pac as "Ken Shamrock"

    Road Dogg as "Vince McMahon"

    Billy Gunn as "Shane McMahon

Jason Sinsation as "Shawn Michaels aka HBGay"

    Chyna as "Big Bossman"

and Midget as "Stooges (Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco)"

Attitude Era > PG (Cena) Era

  • @Jacari1992 Jason was Owen Hart.

  • in the thumbnail it looks like he's holding thwe women's championship. (no offence)

  • @david2000magic That's actually the WWF title with Stone Cold's design, the Smokin' Skull belt. Since it was the WWF belt under a different design, The Rock and other people could have also won it.

  • @Hitmonchan107 I know. I said in the THUMBNAIL of the video it looks like the women's championship

  • @david2000magic wwf title

  • @annoyingbanana1000 i know. but in the thumbnail of the video it looks like the women's title

  • @david2000magic its actually the smoking skull title

  • Probably my favorite theme. I liked his swagger coming down the ramp to it.

  • John Cena and The Miz disliked this video......

  • That roody-poo candy ass jabroni John Cena watched this vid twice.

  • I need this as my ring tone.

  • I swear Rock got more tv time with the smoking skull belt than Austin did.

  • THE CORPORATE ELBOW!!!!!!

  • ~_-

  • Best Theme he ever had

  • Corporate CHAMP!!!!

  • this was when the belts didnt change every week

  • @playawill23 Amen

  • @playawill23 Ya know, I actually prefer frequent title changes than seeing the same guy hold the belt for way too fucking long. (I'm looking at you, Triple H! >_>)

  • @playawill23 actually title changes did happen alot in the attitude era, but it was not like wcw where they had a new champion every two seconds and made it hard to keep track who was wcw champion.

  • Come April 1, 2012, John Cena Will know his role and shut his mouth!

  • this is his best theme

  • @WWEHurricane22 Its the Smoking Skull championship, its when Stone Cold had the WWF title which he modified for himself and the Rock won it from him.

  • @godzillafan4

He stole it, he didn't win it.

  • the first theme where he used a guitar!

  • fuckin theme is so exciting :P

  • I wish he said, "Know your role and shut your hole!" because it rhymes. :D

  • 2 PEOLE IS GONNA BE ELECTRYING BY THE ROCK

  • know your rooooooollllleeee

  • Know your rule or shut your mouth

  • @lacorrilho Actually it's "know your role AND shut your mouth"

  • I'm glad they decided to stick with The Nation style of his theme.

  • this is the rocks best theme

  • It TRULY took off from here on...

  • THE ROCK SAYS PG ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!!!

  • @AtomicKidd85: Those are tween sitcoms, not soap operas. But, yes, some of them are TV-14.

  • @AtomicKidd85: Ditto. Given stuff like MTV's Skins (owned by Viacom [also parent company to Nick]) & Disney's tween stars screwing up their lives (Demi's rehab issues, Miley's dressing like a slut & smoking a bong, the brothers Jonas dumping people via text message [dudes, at least have the balls to kindly tell them that it's not working out to their faces, it's the respectful thing to do in those types of situations, IMO], etc.), WWE turning TV-14 again should be expected, nay accepted.

  • This wan't on Vol. 3... Trust me... I remember because I was upset that they used his 7th theme on Vol.3 instead of this, because his 7th theme was out dated when the album came out and this should have been the song that was on it.

BTW this theme is the superior Rock theme... the volume of the drum track and the constant guitar strumming throughout makes this theme.

  • the Rocks best theme

  • Da Best Theme!

  • PG is not going anywhere.. srry folks

  • The greatest damn theme of all time jabroni!

  • The greatest damn theme of all time jabroni!

  • THE ROCK ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The Rock was never my favorite wrestler but I loved him as a heel and his feud with HHH.This guy is ions better than the Miz as a face or heel.Miz is just AWFUL!!!!!!!!

  • "Know your damn role and shut the hell up"

  • I miss the 500$ t-shirts he used to wear

  • No, Ric flair said he was going to retire many times. And HHH will stop wrestling once he gets defeated by 'Taker. He's been working backstage as a storyline developer and whatnot. Which is where he once agan is going when he gets defeated at 'Mania

  • The volume 3 and volume 4 themes were the best

  • my favourite theme

  • The GOOD thing of WWE...Rock, Austin, HHH, Taker, Booker, and Nash (as Diesel) returning. Rock making fun of Cena was absolutely priceless, since it was true that Cena bashed Rock first, but then, so have many fans who assumed Rock was forever done with the business. Whilst he may be physically done--don't count out a Rock Bottom or People's Elbow, though--he will forever emotionally be linked to WWE, hence why he IS The People's Champ, NOT wannabe wigger, Cena.

  • @TherealRNO Supposedly The Rock and Cena fued continues way past Mania, all the way too Summerslam, and he isn't "physically done", he's more ripped than when he left!

  • @xXJoelXx95: *inner Attitude squeals* Yay! But from I've read and heard, Rock may again leave once this whole fued is done. That saddens me, as Rock is one of the best talkers the company has had for all of forever.

  • @TherealRNO He will leave once it's over, there's no doubt about that. But he will have one last match. Look at Ric Flair, how many times has he 'retired'? He cant leave wrestling alone.

  • @xXJoelXx95: Ric Flair only really retired once? He just came back, like all other before him. In fact, HBK--and HHH following his eventual loss to 'Taker--will be the ones to retire and stay as such.

  • Rock: Whats your Name

    Cena: My name is ...

Rock: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS!!!!

  • The Corporate Champion!

  • " The Rock is rapping he is asked to go soft

and now he needs to take that crap off "

  • @mrfool118 No dude it was

    The Rock is rapping

    He's totally gone soft

    So now He NEEDS

    TO TAKE THIS CRAP OFF!!!!!

    ;)

  • @mrfool118

' The Rock is back to scratch a major itch,

So eat your fruity pebbles you YABBA-DABBA BITCH "

  • prolly the best one.

  • Over-emphasizing the HARDCORE element would be bad, because in the case of the old ECW for example, Heyman knew storylines and characters when he saw them, yet wasn't a financial wizard, which meant that he ended up having to piggyback off of Vince's funding (which in turn, allowed Vince to "borrow" ECW ideas to create The Attitude Era). Nevermind that there is always the fact that a entity based solely on HARDCORE often cuts the lives of its talent drastically short.

  • The thing is, getting rid of the violence, sex, and blood completely was a dick move on WWE's part and over-emphasizing those very aspects is bad on the part of WCW 2.0...erm, I mean TNA...Getting rid of them fully would be bad, because for gimmicky matches like Hell in the Cell that are supposed to be deadly and career-shortening, blood gives 'em that believable feel of being dangerous. Plus, blood--and sweat and tears--are just "part of the game", so to ignore that would be ludacrious.

  • @TherealRNO everything you said here is 100% on point *applauds*

  • The reason angles suck is because we have the Internet and smarks to spoil everything before it "happens" on TV, all present story directions have all been previously done--thereby making it a "been there, seen that" cliche over and over--and all major characters now are bland and boring. Even the PG of the 80's and early 90's had over the top gimmicks to sell WWE like a circus (and everyone--kids especially--loves a circus, as there is something for everyone). Now, it's just dull and lame.

  • @TherealRNO You're absolutely right. THAT'S why when it comes to wrestling, I try to avoid the internet like the plague. Smarks really DO spoil everything. If Sting really DID debut on 2-21, I'd be pissed as a bunch of sites speculated it.

As far as the angles go, I just don't care to see Generic Guy with Red Tights & Emo Entrance Music vs. Generic Guy with Blue Tights & Emo Entrance Music all the time. It's so boring, especially when the actual wrestling's not even entertaining.

  • @djb1ge: What's funny is that Sting DID do a promo series similar to "2-21-11" in his TNA return. Says much about how TNA tries to copy WWE and WCW. XD

  • @TherealRNO I thought they were copying off of WWE, too, but I also thought that it was a jab at WWE and the smarts that thought he was going to work for Vince.

  • @djb1ge: Well, that too. Sting is likely to work for WCW 2.0--aka TNA--until he finally does really retire.

  • @TherealRNO Haha! I thought I was the only one that called TNA WCW 2. Let's see...

Most of your talent consists of older guys from another company? Check.

Have those older guys who've already HAD their runs in that other company command all the top spots while the younger, more talented guys never get over? Check.

    Vince Russo? Check.

I turned on Impact tonight the 1ST thing I see is Sting in the ring with Hogan & Bischoff coming out to confront him. I thought it was 1997 for a second.

  • @djb1ge: Funny thing, Russo CREATED the writing of The Attitude Era, but when he did that, he had someone watching him to make sure he didn't screw up, but when he left for WCW--and now TNA--he ran the former into the ground (as if selling to Time Warner--who hated wrestling at the time--and creative control out the wazoo wasn't enough, WCW suffered bad writing, thanks to Russo) and is nearly replicating that same style in TNA. To be fair, WWE isn't all gold either (ex: Nexus = modern nWo).

  • @djb1ge I get you 100percent but think about the current situation in the wrestling world. Hogan, Bischoff, and Dixie know what loyal fans of wrestling want for the most part. All of the people that watch WWE now and are upset with the current situation will turn to TNA. I would rather watch Older guys from WCW wrestle than watch the John Cena show every Monday but thats my opinion.

  • PG's not what's wrong. They can curse all they want & still have a bad show. Those of you who have watched Impact lately will agree. Seriously, how many times are they gonna make Anderson say "asshole"? Cursing nonstop doesn't make you cool, TNA!

I don't know how the rest of you feel, but I just don't CARE about the angles today & that was half the fun back in the day. Stone Cold filling The Rock's car with cement? Classic. Dolph Ziggler getting "fired"? I honestly couldn't care less if I tried.

  • Another Invasion? I'm not too sure unless TNA's doing really bad financially. Are they? The show's pretty bad, but not as bad as Nitro in it's last few years.

Also, damn Linda & her stupid run for Senate! It's over now & I think PG's slowly going away. The Rock used "bitch" in his promo last night & Cena told The Rock "blow me" in HIS promo LAST week.

  • @deathmaster4035 this and the one that followed it (Vol3, and Vol4) were his best 2 IMO

  • WWF ATTITUDE.

  • The Rock's a perfect example of why u need to let wrestlers create their own style and persona - The Rock took "do you smell what the rock is cookin?" and his eyebrow raise from his college years, he called himself the people's champ, he gave himself the name The Rock Rocky Miavia after his Dad and Grandad.

no one knows a wrestler better than the wrestler himself, so stop suffocating the talent wwe and let them create their own paths like they used to!

  • The Rock is one of the greatest characters if not the greatest character ever in wrestling history.

  • The Rock will kick John Cena's CANDYASS... Johh Cena is the Justin Beiber of the WWE... A TRUE PUSSY!!!!

  • 2 people dont smell what the rock is cookin.

  • @wwemobius1238 IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT 2 PEOPLE DON'T SMELL

  • You're not getting another Attitude Era unless TNA starts whooping WWE in the ratings which isn't happening anytime soon. Attitude was a fad and wrestling isn't as popular as it was back then.

  • @SQ1Fan: As much as Bischoff and Hogan are trying to make TNA WCW 2.0, the company is too small-time at present to pose much of a threat.

  • Or rather, I'd put 2002-2004 as RUTHLESS AGGRESSION and 2005-2007 as NEW GENERATION 2.0 & hopefully 2011 leads to ATTITUDE ERA 2.0, as well.

  • The first good one.

  • The old theme fits much more... But this one's good too, in fact, all Rock's themes were good, and will be good. :D

  • The best version. I don't know why they felt they always had to tweak it so much

  • 1985-1996 WWF GOLDEN AGE

    1996-1998 WWF NEW GENERATION

    1998-2004 WWF/E ATTITUDE ERA

    2005-2008 WWE IS BOOOOOOOOORING

    2008 WWE PG ERA BEGINS

    2009 WWE PG CENA SUPERMAN

2010- WWE PG BUT YOUTH MOVEMENT

  • @haqzuk am gonna say the attidude era was more 97-01 maybe 02

  • @SFNDMK: WWE markets RAW IS WAR as The Attitude Era, which means that it was 1997-2001, with the end being the WCW purchase & the re-branding of RAW in September (due to the infamous 9/11 attacks the next day, September 10th was the last official day for RAW IS WAR). The name change meant little, because really, it was still the same company, lawsuit or not. The main issue comes with comparing the pre-Attitude PG to the PG now, where the PG prior to Attitude was able to get away with more.

  • 1970's: ERA OF THE GIANT (ANDRE)

    1980's: HULKAMANIA ERA

    1990-1996: NEW GENERATION ERA

1997-2001: ATTITUDE ERA aka THE MONDAY NIGHT WARS

2002-2007: RUTHLESS AGGRESSION ERA aka GET THE 'F OUT

    2008-2010: "PG" ERA

2011: The Rock is back, Austin is back, Taker is back, HHH is back...And hopefully, the PG ERA dies

  • @TherealRNO just a shame hbk won't be back :( at least he's getting inducted though

  • @SFNDMK: Yeah. And his fellow KLIQ mates, HHH--obviously--Nash--returned to retire as Diesel--Hall--though probably drunk out of his mind--and X-Pac, showed up for that.

  • @TherealRNO the PG Era was earlier, but it went REALLY PG when the HD arenas were put in use

  • @MYxNAMExISxBOBx : No. The Ruthless Agression Era lasted up until RAW had its new theme (Wanna Be Loved, which has now itself been replaced by Burn It To The Ground).

  • Basically RAW's themes epitomize each era...

Attitude = We're All Together Now/Thorn In Your Eye (1997-2001)

Ruthless Aggression: Move To The Music (2002-2006)

    Wanna Be Loved (2007-2009)

Burn It To The Ground (Current)

  • @TherealRNO hopefully 2011 = The Attitude Revival Era

  • @TherealRNO 2011: Rock is only back for WM 27; and he even said himself he wouldnt comeback for a match, Austin is a host of a new show; not a wrestler, Taker will retire in 2 years, HHH is going to retire after the Career vs Streak match at WM 27. Attitude isn't back my friend, sorry. They're back to bring the ratings up.

  • @GoalHornDude HHH is really retiring after WM? :( That sucks. I hope you're wrong. I don't care about ANY other wrestlers besides HHH & The Undertaker. WWE is so bad right now. I'm gonna become a DVD/YouTube wrestling fan soon!

  • @djb1ge Yes, he already has a office job with the WWE. In fact, he'll probably be the next Vince McMahon because he is married to Vinces daughter. I agree, WWE is really bad now. But what I think is going to happen is that WWE and TNA will do an invasion like they did with the WCW,ECW and WWE will win again, bringing in the new Attitude Era. But don't blame Vince for PG, it's Linda McMahon who decided to go PG.

  • @GoalHornDude: First off, "Tough Enough" is NOT new. If anything, BOTH the former "ECW Superstar Initative" on WWECW and "NXT" are basically "Tough Enough" already, since all three were--or are--based upon WWE newcomers (whether as rookies overall or as longtime vets elsewhere) vying to become, to use the phrase implented for Brock Lesnar, "The Next Big Thing" in WWE. Secondly, just BECAUSE Rock & Austin can't wrestle in full does NOT mean we WON'T see a Stunner or Rock Bottom/People's Elbow.

  • @GoalHornDude: Knowing how this is all panning out, we will have a HHH vs Taker match with HBK as ref & the Cena vs Miz match with Rock as enforcer. Either way, both retired competitors will mostly get involved in some capacity, as is expected for WWE in general, let alone "the granddaddy of 'em all", Wrestlemania. That means that we might see Rock laying the smackdown one final time and someone getting stuck with the tune of some Sweet Chin Music before HBK rides off into the sunset.

  • @TherealRNO agreed, im sick of these dumb kids owning wwe. john poptart fruit loop cenas a joke compare to pthe peoples champ.no charector no nothing, his boreing ass slangs an catch phrases put me to sleep.

  • @xxsladedethxx: But we've a year to wait and since Rock will probably leave again after his match with Cena at the next WM, it is said that as much as we older fans dislike it, he may put Cena over, because in effect, Vince himself has demanded that WWE just be WWE, NOT World WRESTLING Entertainment (in other words, he wants to take the WRESTLING out of it & with this PG family-centric movement Cena is spear-heading, it looks to stay that way).

  • @TherealRNO agreed, this pg13 bullshit needs to die.

  • @xxsladedethxx: Well, to be fair, the eras before Attitude were PG as well, but at least then, you had different gimmicks to make things lively. Now, most people act the same...bland and boring, whilst Cena & Orton are piss-poor excuses for Rock & Austin, respectively, considering their movesets and gimmicks.

  • @TherealRNO good luck with that

  • @TherealRNO Finally....

  • @TherealRNO Just sayin, it really isn't a "PG" era, WWF was PG during Hogan years and up till somewhere in the 90s. I'd call it more of the "Shit" era.

  • @Kaneundertaker3: Well, I know the eras before Attitude were PG, but even so, the times back then allowed for some leeway, so the older seasons got away with more. Now, everything too politically correct. It's funny that. in an era where a kid's teen idols demoralize family values or where kids get knocked up at 12 or younger, people still want to be PC & family-friendly. XD

  • @TherealRNO Indeed, welcome to the contradicting world of today :P

  • @Kaneundertaker3: Especially when, at last word, Vince McMahon had it said that although the company will forever house pro wrestling, he wants to branch out (as per the failed XFL of years past & the current forary into the movie and reality TV worlds), & thus, just wants the company simply known as WWE--NOT World 'Wrestling' Entertainment--in order to get away from the stigmas associated with being a 'wrestling' enterprise.

  • @TherealRNO when did taker leave and austin isn't back

  • @36dopman: Injuries held him up for several months prior to 'Mania and now, he has confirmed that is his unsure on when/if he's coming back. Kharma--aka Awesome Kong--coming in and destroying Michelle McCool during a Loser Leaves WWE match at Extreme Rules also ensures that Michelle
