@ASADCOOLFOOL Rappers tend to not be fussy about Mics, so I would say yes. Just make sure to use a pop shield.

c01u its a condenser mic. But it has a USB plug-in it a pretty good mic. If you dont have a interface u can just plug it right in the computer and ur ready to go.

Such USB microphones are only to record? As in, can i use it to communicate with other people on skype, teamspeak, vent, etc because im finding a good quality microphone to communicate with friends.

I have indeed spotted the "incongruity". the truth is though, even though i own mics that were made by companies that are perceived to be a more prestigious, I still own 2 different Behringer mics: dynamic XM8500 and conndeser C1. If connected to a Behringer Mic200 valve pream, trust me you can get more than decent results. Just because it is Behringer it doesn't mean it's bad. If u want a 1st hand opinon, try for urself.!

but you need something to recognize your vocal and edit it, unless you got some kind of program already istalled in your computer. I think that's what the software is for ^.^

I have that Goldwave digital audio editor will that work? i edit files on that all the time. and i could use this as a mic for voice chatting online and for skype but skype runs like shit on any computer nowadays so i deleted it from my pc and the vista machine and i currently have it on my PSP game console but I need the go came for that.

I'm not an expert so I don't know what I can tell you... but honestly... it's always good to go with the proper way...

1) music program (protools, or acid etc)

2) condensor mic

3) pre-amp or mixer (prefer pre-amp)

but if yu buy this mic, seems like it comes with a software so... just install that and use it ^^

Man.. Amazon doesn't have it :( But is somewhat expensive, expect $170+ - $200. I like the features of the preamp and since it's USB, but instead I'm just gonna get thet MXL .007.

Some salient points in the review but way too many inaccuracies and red herrings that show the reviewer isn't qualified to compare the mic to 'pro' mics. The review should stick to the ease of use aspects of the mic for the casual user and not ever mention it being in the same room as 'pro' mics. A Neumann u87 this mic is not (not even an AKG C 3000B).
