Argentina has no valid claim on the islands whatsoever. IF they had any they would have pursued them through the proper channels.

Instead they chose to invade, thinking the British would do nothing. They learnt they were wrong. I am sorry for all the deaths, I lost some good friends, but the blood is on Argentinian hands.

If it were the yanks, they would probably have ended the war with one carrier and few ships accompanying it. And some ranger battalions to collect the POW's. At a huge cost of civilian population.
