I would say that because Obama was elected by a large margin these trouble makers on the air are failing to advance their agenda despite their large audiences. I have to laugh when I hear the term "liberal media". About 80% of tv, radio stations and newspapers in this country are owned by 5 corporations or individuals like Rupert Mudoch (he owns 46% percent himself including Fox). I don't think Murdoch, Viacom, Disney, etc. are exactly "liberal". Ask the FCC for balance in political talk radio.

Some systems of governance may or maynot work depending on the people location, culture, society and time among other factors. this is why you didn't see many states like republics thousands of years ago ( among other reasons of course)
