@gilmour6754 Warren still is the man, as I wasn't a fan of his while he was alive and he and his lesser known works have greatly impacted my life after he died. May you, me, and everyone else see that flashing red light just one time in our lives! Warren lives on through things like this. Live version still gives me chills in the end, and I've heard it a thousand times. I listen every time I need to Quit feeling sorry for myself, and man up!

I hope this kevin smith movie turns out good. We cant expect it to be slapshot. Its just not fair to go into the theater expecting it to somehow top Slapshot. I just hope its a bit light hearted, tells a good story and doesnt take itself too seriously like Miracle did

People ACTUALLY doubting Kevin Smith's ability to write the movie based off of this song are out of their minds. Kevin Smith may not have had the best reputation when it comes to film-making despite making great films such as Dogma, Clerks, and Chasing Amy, but he LOVES Hockey. He understands hockey more than a lot of other people out there and I'm sure he will put everything he has into making this film. Not for himself, not for Hollywood, but for the sport of Hockey. It'll be his last/best.

All I know is Kevin Smith is working with Mitch Albom (guy who wrote the lyrics to this song) and that this movie is his movie for Canada (not surprising since most people know Kevin loves Canada and 2 things that got Kevin out of his depression was 'a history of canada' and the oiler's the boys on the bus documentary)

Because he really wants the first movie to be about the kids youth and how he grows up. Then the second movie is more when hes an adult. Should be great. A lot will be shot in Canada.
