Veterans for Inhofe

Inhofe has voted against so many bills on vet benefits...including the new GI Bill from Senator Webb.

I hate how two faced this guy is.

Of course he supports body armor and uparmoring wheeled vehicles...now. The stark truth is that, in 2003 & 2004, when procuring body armor would have made the biggest difference (and soldiers on the ground were begging for it), he voted against it. Period.

Maybe if Boeing and Lockheed made body armor, he would have supported buying it. Like so many Republicans, Inhofe supports defense contractors at the expense of soldiers on the ground.

Senator Inhofe voted for $174 million to replace damaged equipment and $300 million in body armor in the war supplemental bill.

He voted no for one bill but supported an alternative that did even more for the troops.

I'm from Virginia, and I sincerely wish we could have a Senator like Inhofe. I've been following him for a while now, and he's spot on with all the issues. Immigration, vet benefits, energy, environmental issues, taxes. The GOP needs more conservatives like him.
