@listenangel lol you're a great player man, but as i said just because it isn't warp-seed doesn't mean you aren't shredding. you're playing here, though slowed down is still technical. The tonal quality from your picking technique has the same qualities of a shred solo. You're using tapping, arpeggios, string skipping and alternate picking and those are shredding techniques :) NO SHREDDING Would be like a David Gilmour or Jerry Cantrell solo where it's just tastey licks and no complex runs.

0:18-0:21, if that isn't shredding I dont know what is! that one part actually DOES sounds like jason becker for cryin out loud.lol When you say no shredding it almost makes the title seem ironic, like you're trying to throw people off. A solo like "Money" by Pink Floyd or "Over the Hills and Far Away" by Led Zeppelin, those are good examples of non shredding solos. Anyways it doesn't matter you are really good!
