To me, the following apply:

Candy bar = americans consider this to be things like mars bars - i think a candy bar is a big clump of jelly babies all compacted together, mmmm...

Chocolate (bar) = to me this is a solid lump of chocolate, or a mars bar.

Biscuits = only custard creams and the likes.
