Fighting Force 3 [PS2 & XBOX - Tech Demo / CANCELLED!]

People consider Fighting Force a "classic"? It must not take much to qualify for that title in this day and age then. The whole series is garbage when you compare it to proper beat-em-ups like Streets of Rage 1-3, Alien Vs Predator, Dungeons and Dragons TOD/SOM, Guardian Heroes, Sengoku 3, etc, etc.

Fighting Force 2 was a great Game in 1999, but the first was much better! Less shooting, more Fighting, more Characters, and a great Coop Mode, the first Game is one of the best Classics ever! Love this Game! The developers are little Heros to me.

Fighting force was originally streets of rage 4 but sega pulled the name because of disagreements with core about releasing it on competitors consoles.

@skyblue11685 why wouldnt they think it would have an audience? i know beat em ups arent hugely popular....but enough people like the genre to keep it alive. they should have realised that and maybe, we would have a 4th game. even if they haddent heard so much about the series

as for fighting force, i liked that too, it would have been nice to have new fighting force games as well..maybe one day as a remote possibility

but until then, i have warriors, sorr and a few others to keep me happy >_>

@Amaranthus616 it was because Sega of America was completely inept. I think I remember reading that SOA didn't even know what Streets of Rage was or something like that. Considering it was a Pack-in game used to sell the Genesis it should have seemed like a no-brainer that people would still want to play it. Just another franchise Sega completely dropped the ball on unfortunately.

FF1 is still great. The game tails off once you get to Zens base though, gets repetitive (ironically) with about 3 enemy types and the final boss is sub-par.

fighting force was streets of rage 4 but sega wasnt going to relese it so eidos brought it n changed the game slightly then relesed it under a diffrent name. check out atjazz he did the music for it and the tomb raider games now he makes nu-jazz tunes n there proper sick.

man why did they bring this out! i mean fighting force 1 was the baest but part 2 sucked ass, but still they could made up for it by keeping game as the first one. this game brings back great memories and moments that i had or anybody had, if they bring fighting force 3 or bring fighting force 1 and 2 (which sucked) would be a blast form the past. if i could write to the company, which i can! and tell them, no demaned them to bring back the franchies!
