    They (Auerbach, Kossoff and Freud) are NOT from Eastern Europe. They are all Jews, it's not the same though. Kossoff was raised in - then - Jewish East London, Auerbach and Freud came to London as kids from Germany where they were born. Germany is not East Europe and has never been. I like Leon Kossoff too. Some of those paintings were in his show at Annely Juda in London last year.
