Platypus and Nalgene both make collapsible water containers, both are very durable. A little more expense up front (I want to say in the $10 range), but you can use them for a long time.
Great video! I too have questions about a PSK for winter in deep snow and cold. Unless I am in camp, I always have my daypack on with more stuff, including a pot for melting snow, insulated water bottle, and the clothing I need, an axe or saw, etc. I can’t see ever being separated from it because its always on me. I still have matches, lighter and ferro rod and knife on my belt and in pockets just in case. Looking forward to more on your PSK
Really good. How about just a breast milk bag? Maybe fit a cup in the bottom of the bag? how about a UST saw instead of the wire one? Nice set up though, good job.
nice kit, good to see it in real use. really want to hear about how the 2 space blankets worked for you. BTW was that a 10/22 I saw in the background?
@mchipman1 Thats a Henry takeown .22 rifle. The space blankets were a wash...the weather just got absolutly nasty, And I knew what the outcome would be, so another trip...
That is a great gear setup! I really like that bag. Very, very nice!
