Because it was a goaltending. They didn't show a good angle in this clip. I saw the game and it looked like goaltending to me. It had hit the backboard before Kobe touched it. That's goaltending regardless of how the ball is moving.

Did it hit the backboard before Kobe touched it? Maybe the broadcasted angle was bad because I replayed that sequence and it looked like a good block to me and I thought it was a bad call. They didn't analysis that because that play wouldn't have made a difference to the outcome of the game.
