  • A man proud of who he is. I would love to meet Reggie in person and shake his hand.

  • it's good to know your story reggie. don't let the haters hate.

  • thumbs up for Reggie Bibbs!!

  • my grandmother my dad had it and i looked up the symptoms and i might have it and im kinda scared but i wish they had a cure for every1 else who is worse

  • Thanx Reggie. I think you are so brave. I have nf myself. Not really in a visable form but I do have my problems resulting from it. Teaching the world is so important.

  • Reggie, my brother thank you for allowing us to post this on our NF group site.

  • I have NF1 all over my body. It affects 1 in 3000.

  • Thank you starshiesbrightly80 for watching. Hope that you will visit my blog and meet some of my friends as well.

  • me too :( well not all over.. but about 15% of my body

  • I also have NF1 - which lost me my lower left leg - but I am lucky at 24 to have never yet had a neurofibroma (that I know of). With that said, I am aware my future is uncertain. I can see the very early stages of some - I think - across my chest and back - reminders of the NF that I continually forget I have. Although greatly fearful, your bravery and strength remind me and help me come to realize that no matter what happens, I can get through it, and there is is really nothing to worry about.

  • God bless you for being brave enough to show the world. Karma will come back on all the horrible people who stared and laughed and said mean things. You're very amazing, I wish more people were like you.

  • i just waching this, i am nerly in tears,

my mum had NF and me and my brother both have it,

my poor mum was trap inside the house because of pepole used to say to her about me and my brother.someone once said to her about my brother i would want my child dead then look like him.

i was always bullyed at school because haveing NF and say that my mum should have hgot rid of use before birth.

i think your a grate man for standing up for who you are and what you belive. god bless you

  • SteveIwinsCorpse, you are a sad sad pathetic, stupid little man. You need to grow a brain and relize that neurofibromatosis is congenital and Reggie did not choose to be like this. If you dont like to look at this you need not look at it. and until you grow up yu need to keep your snide comments to yourself you ignorant inconsiderate prick.

  • Thank you Kcotch. You are so kind to take up for me.

    Reggie

  • we need more people like you in this world. people who aren't scared to talk about Neurofibromatosis. people like are teaching others about it. i myself suffer from it i have type 1. i use give school reports on it because i wanted others to understand that it is something you can not catch we are just born with it. as for you SteveIrwinsCorpse your the freak for not knowing what you are talking about read before you talk about something

  • I also have this also. People are mean

    Your fantastic Reggie

  • You choose to use words to hurt. It'ok I'm hurt, I feel sorry for you. You try to hurt not only me, but others that has suffered tragedy in ones life. What I'm sayig to you will mean nothing to you. But others understand what I'am saying. They will see your cmmentas well.

  • You're a really brave man.

Wish there was a cure for Neurofibromatosis.

  • Thank you for understanding.

  • Hi Reggie, I have NF1 just like you! I can't imagine how you went through life with all the looks, stares and comments about you. My case is nowhere near as sever as yours and I am sill affected by the comments people give me about my cafe-au-lait spots on my body, legs and arms. I now look up to you as a hero. How did you ever manage to take all negative the comments from people at school while growing up?

  • My Friend,

I thank you for your kind comment. It is not easy, of course you know know that. I bet you can do more then what you believe you can. Feel free to contact me anytime if you would like to chat. visit my website blog and chat. I would be happy to hear from you.

    Reggie

  • Reggie, I am doing a senior project for school, and yes, the teachers want us to get interviews weather it be doctors or people affected by NF. If it isn't to much to ask, may I send you questions through your mesages on youtube? I would love to have you as an interview, you look like a very kind man, and seem like a person who will give me thoughtful answers.

  • @baseboyproductions same with me man i have more of the cafe spots on my chest and people ask all the time what it is when im at beach, pool party. makes m feel uncomfortalbe regardless of how fit i am

  • hello Reggie, wow your face is very swollen, i've never seen anything like it, what causes it and how do you manage?

  • Foebene72 thank you for asking. I was born with a genetic disorder. a common disorder called neurofibromatosis.

  • well your very brave coming on youtube to educate others. Have you been able to have a normal life? Marry and have kids etc? or would that be passed on genetically? This is fascinating as i was unaware of it, i hope my questions aren't too personal.

  • Thanks so much Reggie for your inspiration.I'm not surprised that you are so bold because i know you have Jesus Christ as your lord and savior.

  • Thank you for your life, Reggie.

You make people think more clearly, and more gently, like yourself--the thoughtful man who

    refuses to be made unhappy.

You have inspired so many in so many good ways.

  • Thank you for you kind and thoughtful comment.

    Reggie

  • You are an amazing man Reggy, you have taken negative and turned it into positive.

    Huggs

    Diana

  • Smiles :) I happy to be of help to others. I pray that anyone that has NF will never give up hope. Thank you for your comment

    Reggie

  • Great idea, and great job, Reggie. What a way to make a difference! Your family must be very proud of you. It's amazing to me that neurofibromatosis is just as common as cystic fibrosis but most people have never heard of it. That's just not right!

  • Thank you Keed59 for your kind comment.

    Reggie

  • Reggie, individuals such as yourself consitute the reasons why I am working towards becoming a surgeon.

  • I thank you. Your kind comment means a lot.

  • hey Reggie =)

i get comments and staring all the time..even my commander (i was in the army lol, yes) thought i was doing drugs, becuz of those "strange" marks on my arms..i really hate the reactions of ppl sometimes.

all i can say and pardon my languge is that those annoying people who point out or laugh can seriously go to hell :))

i can't find the words to tell you my gratitude to you. you're a true star ^__^

  • You are not the one that has the problem. Maybe something is wrong in his or her life. Some time I feel like I want to say something to the person. You never know what life has in store for

you. I feel blessed. Some time you can make a difference in someone life, and not even know it. You too are a star. Your support is giving me that drive to do more. all of you that email and make nice comments. always remember I read every email and comments. I thank you.

  • I actually came to tears while watching this! You are such a strong person, God bless you!

  • Thank you Emily. You nice note gives me that go go go attitude.

  • i am so happy that you have been able to accept nf, i just wish i had the guts to do just that and ignore all the comments i get

  • Thank you. Remember it is that person that has the problem. Not YOU. They act stupit because they choose to act that way. Hold your head up. When someone look at you smile and just give them a nod.most people will give smile back.

  • We both know its hard hard to not say anything. It takes everything I have in side me to keep my mouth closed. What goes through my mind stays there. My sisters are not like that. I tell them to don't say a word. Don't worry we can support each other. Please write me anytime you have something on your mind. write me direct. I will answer. Thank you for your support.

  • Hi Buck Joe. Thank you both for the visit. I'm happy to see the nice comments from you all. Would love to see you visit my blog, and make comments. My frother had nf. He passed away with cancer. His turn to cancer.

  • Hi Joe T and Buck.this is pat from the chatroom. This is such a great way to inform people about this condition. I have passed it onto my cancer support group, where there are also people dealing with NF

  • Reggie, thanks for bringing NF to the attention to YouTube. We who have NF (I have a mild case of NF1 pea sized tumors all over my body) wish the public was more aware of our condition. You are the pioneer in this effort. Thank so much !!!

  • KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

    Peace,

    J."KNOTTY" Willman

  • what an inspiration! GO REGGIE! but don't take staring to heart all the time... I stare at beautiful things all the time. xoxo

  • What a wonderful thought. Thank you.

  • True true.

  • Not a very pleasant mental picture.

  • You're a ROCK STAR, Reggie!!!

  • Thank you. Just don't ask me to sing. I would rather run around in a lions den, with pork chop trousers on.
