i have to agree with you. There is just no way you can compare singing to growling and to me the only one who sounds like metal to me is Arch Enemy with Angela Gossow. The other 5 girls sounds more like opera to me, which is not always a bad thing.... But really you cant compare it!

Metal like any music and any art form, is evolving.

I consider Nightwish with Tarja the evolved, superior metal. The best that metal had to give until now.

One for death metal, for Angela Glassow and singers like her;

and one for symphonic metal for all the others listed in the video.

In my opinion, Floor Jansen's (After Forever/ReVamp) vocals remain the strongest and most diverse compared to the rest, but unfortunately she's not even listed...
