  • You don't know what complete and incomplete is however, you were a quad? Hmmm! I've been 1 for 25yrs and I knew what it was a few months after my accident.

  • You are a phenomenon. People like you make me ashamed of my ridiculous problems.God Bless you, and I will follow you progress.By the way, you are beautiful.

  • What happen to the other 2 in the car? Thank u for sharing your story on YouTube

  • thank you for sharing your story

  • were u d only one dat got injured...

  • Is there some natural herbs that will bring back sensations? What herbs do you taken or tried for healing? What has your growth been since the accident?

  • To the individual who thinks that incomplete means

bruised, it is a broader term than that. With complete, no neurological signals travel past the level of injury (no movement) whereas incomplete, some signal travels up some of the 4 sensory/motor tracks that comprise our spinal cord (some mvt/sensation). In my case, I further confuse individuals, doctors and nurses, since I have an incomplete central cord injury over an area that spans from c3-c7. This injury runs vertically not horizontal.

  • All of you are so strong. I try my hardest to be grateful for what I do and don't have. Being fully functioning is too easy and watching these videos sends me good vibrations because I really needed it today. Everything happens for a reason, which ever way the pendulum swings.

  • I wish you good luck for the future, And i hope things get better for you soon.

  • complete means the spinal cord was completely severed and incomplete means it was just bruised

  • I hope Obama makes a change on the Goverment's policy on Stem Cell research, That is the best opporunity for nerve regenegation. Good luck to you.

  • Outstanding video, after seeing so many video's of angry people who are not quads it is refreshing to see you with a postive video and a postive outlook. Thankyou!

  • Are you a quadriplegic or a paraplegic?

    Are you looking for help?

Visit my channel for more information. Thank-you.

  • sorry to hear about everything :(

  • Dear Pasliso: An idiot is a person who has NO thinking from the neck up. U're moving ur thinking w/o difficulty, and are totally wrong. Have you ever met a quadriplegic? I knew one in 1964 who wanted to dance with me, and I regret not doing so. Everyone deserves to dance if they want to.

Dear Deborah: Keep up the fight and win! Ignore the ignorant! You are awesome, and stated your case perfectly. Good Luck!

  • Arthur, it is Not ignorant to desire to give to God, who is your heavenly Father, before giving to your husband. This is a dance. That's spiritual language. Incidentally, I am a nurse. What's your profession?

  • I have a VERY HARD time believing that you are a nurse and don't know what a quadriplegic is. If you went to nursing school they should have taught you that the farther down from the brain a spinal injury is, the less damage is done to the entire body. To quote "An individual with an injury at C1 will likely lose function from the neck down and be ventilator-dependent. But with a C7 injury may lose function from the chest down but still retain use of the arms and much of the hands." wikipedia

  • Oh, that comment was to Pasliso, I don't know why it didn't put it below her comment. Sorry.

2ideas, you are such a strong woman. My grandma is a C2/3/4 vent dependent quad, and can't feel/move below her neck. You are lucky for the blessing you have been given despite everything. Did you have your son before or after your wreck? I am not familiar with that part of quad since my grandma is older, I assume it was before though? I hope things continue to go well for you! xoxo

  • Plz let me correct the statement above about a quadriplegic is a person who has no movement from the neck down. Technically "Quadriplegic" means 4 limbs affected. "Paraplegic" means 2 limbs affected. This means it can be many variations in levels of spinal cord injury. No one injury is the same, no two people are affected exactly the same as another. Another misunderstaning is that "Quadriplegics & Paraplegics" can't feel. continued below...

  • That is true & unfortunate for many but, nerves are cause many different functions & allow more movement in some people as nerves heal & sometimes in younger aged people regenerate. With that can come more function and feeling.

  • putas sectas. Sólo quieren donativos

  • This was very uplifting for me to watch! Also, reminded me to be thankful for what I do have because things in my life "COULD" be wors! Your resolve is also inspiring. To have gon through what you have and still be strong is astounding. Thank you for sharing it was somthing I need'd to watch.
