@codegeass7162 I really don't want to start an argument but you have some points that are invalid. Put yourself in his shoes. Now that you've done that, think about what he would be feeling/thinking when he knows that his ace pilot and friend is captured. Would you be all that calm? If you would be calm than I would be impressed. When he was going to use refrain on himself he was stopped by Kallen, and then Lelouch asked Kallen to console him because she said "tell me I'll do whatever you say!"

lelouch would not give a damn about her being capture....

but as we saw he sent all his army against chinese in order to save her...

i think that there are only a few people that lelouch would do something like that for them also in turn 7 lelouch understood that he reacted the wrong way with kallen and wanted to apologize to her (if only rolo didn't stop him i think they would have a romantic scene)

@ImpassiveMeteor well what i meant by "personal pilot" that she is his best pilot who has the role to guard him with her life everytime when he leads the black knight in other words he should not give a damn about her life

cause it should be obvious that sooner or later she could be captured or die

also he should have saw her as one of his soldiers in order to maintain a good leader but his feelings or relationship with her got in his way ( it changed his plans in ep 11 R2 )

@legendjony I agree with you that his feelings lead him to his downfall many times but Lelouch doesn't just think of Kallen as a personal pilot, he thinks of her as a good friend, and it's proven that he cares a lot about his friends. (if you don't believe me go through and watch both series again)

the fact is that in R2 was mainly concentrated on lelouch and kallen

almost all the romantic scenes or the attraction was about kallen and lelouch

its true that in the begining lelouch saw kallen as a friend

but as time had past we can see lelouch had develope some kind of a feeling toward kallen maybe its a love intrest

or maybe its just very good friend (might even see her as a little sister) but he had more attention to kallen
