These were ncredibily hard living times. Certainly as a man you had to be a macho in society to survive. Unless you were extremly talented in something you got to be a slave or a soldier. And the useless wars and killings too! These were real wars though, fighting with a little outfit, shield and knife/speer, man to man. Not with easy guns or bombing the shit flat.
