  • @datseb997 it is called after action drills. After a defensive shooting you scan your surroundings making sure it is free of other aggressors and make sure the one you just shot doesnt continue to pose a threat. They ate also done to scan for witnesses that can back you up when law enforcement arrives.

  • why does he look around? I see alot of people do that but I never got it

  • You know, I've read some studies that OC spray is something like 90% effective at driving away charging bears, while handguns hover around 60-70%. I figure most of that is bad shooting (hello, charging BEAR) and of course, the OC can is the size of a fire extinguisher... All things considered, I'll stick with my Smith. ;)

  • sounds like a high caliber handgun :L:L

  • that's what happens if you use a french rifle

  • just get a desert eagle and blow its head off

  • 0:52

Always check for the bear's accomplices. Bears like to distract you while other bears sneak on you from the side.

  • guns vs rifles... ouch... unless you a skilled cop taking a cracked out really drunk armed man with an ak then maybe you got the edge, long guns are long guns... even shotgun defeats a handgun. if your facing a man with a rifle, shoot in his general direction and RUN MUTHAFACKU!

  • Glock 21

  • LOL

  • how about just getting behind that big burm and then defend yourself?

  • From a charging bear or rhino? good luck kid.

  • lol it's col ryan from the unit

  • Good instructional vid .

  • Yeah it's just too bad many states make it illegal to carry a handgun while hunting.

  • Why's that? Wouldn't be safer for hunters?

  • No need for a big ass revolver. A 10mm GLOCK would do the trick.

  • Yeah duck hunting. Dogs have been known to shake off 9mm bullets and keep charging. So is a 10mm glock really going to stop a charging boar or bear. I'll use my S&W 500 for Stopping power over it anyday.

  • Actually a 10 mm has more stopping power than .45 acp and is capable of taking down even a bear. However, if i had a choice, I would definetly choose a .500 Magnum. And 9 mm are just shit.I foyu are still skeptical, research the 10 mm round.

  • Nope I know just prefer my bigger

.500 for stopping power in that instance. Plus I can't buy glocks in my state. Yes that sucks a whole bunch.

  • Amen

  • Glock 20 Rules!!!

  • Looks like he's doing the robot when he moves from side to side.

  • he is a robot

  • terminator

  • nice vid, showing combat techniques on hunting,

could save live of some bunch of guys

    like it

  • Excellent drill. One of the bests I've seen. It may look robotized but this is the way to do it as it ables to react always in the same way particularly if your life is at stake and there is no room for any mistake whatsoever.

  • Yeah, definitely superior tactics here.

  • He is using IDPA and Combat techniques for hunting purposes.

    Thats nice to see.

  • robocop is back

  • hahahahahahaha

  • ill bet he is great on the dance floor

    Mr. Roboto

  • lol

  • It may look silly, but there's a point to it: looking out to see if there are other potential threats that you may have to target and shoot.

And, you have to do it in a controlled way; it's too easy to miss a threat if you're doing the movements in a panic.

  • Very nice

  • thank you
