  • omg that bass is blowing! I love the way the bass drives this song along. It's so progressive. Too bad Tate sounds winded. It's such a great song and one of their best albums and most technical albums.

  • i don't believe in love significa non credo nell'amore....

    Chi crede nell'amore???

  • try my cover! just audio

    /watch?v=lRHGEPRGjZk

  • Whatever happened to really good frontmen? You know, ones who could actually hit the notes live and not sound like they're straining to hold in a giant shit?

  • HOLY FUCK ---- where did Geoff Tate get his unreal vocal cords ???

  • I'm not much on debate but MINDCRIME was just pure genious. Whoever would've thought that a concept album would have so much great music.

  • the orininal line up geoff tate eddie jackson micheal wilton chris deggarmo scott rockinfeild

  • @driveasshole thanks for the queensryche line up details,.,.,

  • DeGarmo!!!!

  • She made a difference, I guess she had a way. for making every night seem bright as day!

  • you guys have to stop comparing Tate to god.... Clearly we know tate is better ^_^

  • Operation Mindcrime - An essential part of any collection without a doubt THUMBS UP

  • it should be illigal how talented and yummy Mr. Tate is

  • As live metal bands go...you aren't going to get much more consistently awesome, night in night out, than Queensrÿche!!!

  • Its amazing this band doesnt really get air play unless they do something main stream.Geoff Tate with his 3 octave voice is phenomenal .I cant believe Chris Degarmo the lead guitarist is the only one who left from the origina band lineup. Its too bad they we all grow old.

  • @MrStoney2011 Tate has 4 octaves, but later he stoped to use his highest pitch. Like most of the best vocals out there. You can hear it in newer versions of their songs. Sad but true. Real respect goes to him because here, playing live he still keeps the pitch high, and most vocalists today playing live change a bit the melody just not to strain themselves. I'm afraid that is how it works. And yes...of course people grow old.

  • Dont get me wrong, i Love Geoff and his incredible vocals. Ive never seen anyone hit the same notes with the same power. (Rob Halford hit em, but he was screaming.....and Bruce Dickensonis too much into theatrics) But Chris DeGarmo was always my favorite. his guitar playing was so incredible, it was beautiful. *tears up lol

  • Watching these videos, I am truly struck by how much his voice sounds almost exactly the same on their albums as it does live in concert. Few singers these days can boast that. What a timeless band. I am excited that 30 years after first hearing them I get to see them live at the House of Blues in Boston. I am STOKED!

  • SUCH a great song!!!!

    \m/ \m/

  • damn Goeff is a sexy thang!

  • I rmeember going to this concert, empire /Operation Mindcrime san diego OMG it was the best concert i'd seen ever. I always loved this band love Goeff Tate. just an increadible band!

  • Very cool indeed.

  • I love Queensryche! Especially Geoff Tate!!!!

  • Geoff Tate, is along with Bruce Dickinson and Freddie Mercury as top 3 best singer of all time and Queensryche is along with Iron Maiden, and Bruce Dickinson as the greatest artist of all time! to all my fellow queensryche fans i salute you!

  • tate was the shit in his prime but later lost his chops! de garmo??? now thats where it was at!

  • Fucking flawless...Thanks guys.

  • These guys don't get the credit they deserve. Unreal music with an incredible message.

  • @robinsonpro8 you are so right! they remain one of my favs of all time. their approach to hard rock was different than any other group of that era! love em!

  • The more I listen to Queensryche and other 80s bands, the more I hate Nirvana and other grunge music.

  • Geoff was untouchable.

  • Never heard Goeff singing so tired and without locking.

  • @einarabelc5

watched queensyrche here in milwaukee about two years ago. he was still all about his voice and the message/ had a us soldier come out during a toon and really celebrated him. good guy.

  • ..."I never have and I never will"...

  • great band and musicians, but really marshmellow shoes and spandex pants?? Was this really cool in our day??

  • @sainnic ur retarded geoff tate put on such exciting and theatrical stage acts geoff made and makes the most interesting and entertaining shows ive ever seen

  • Espectacular!

  • yeah i agree! go to tubifier.com to download this song as an mp3!

  • Love is just a mind game for using, revenge or getting something from someone....everyone is divorced in my family except me, I learned by watching - to see this psychological abuse for what it is. BS!

  • ~"i never have and never will~~~i don't believe in love---it's never worth the pain that you feel--

  • This band was so good.

  • @Audiolaboratory Correction. This band IS so good! Theyre just as fucking good and spot on today as they were 20 years ago.

  • @ThcThug Their still together!?!?!

  • I wish Chris DeGarmo didn't leave the band.

He was one of the best guitarists the world has been gifted with.

  • this band ROCKS. LOVE the bass

  • @savageamusement1 me too

thats the way a bass guitar should be used

thats the way i use it

  • I think these guys had such short-lived success was because Geoff Tate was so queer-looking.

  • @sainnec

no definatly not look at rob halford back in the 80's man (no offense to him im a HUGE FAN) i think they didnt go on to sell 50 million records cause after empire they started going downhill

  • HEY flaggius! thanx for the wonderful memories bro!

  • Michael Wilton looked a bit like Jimmy Page during this period.

  • I saw Operation Mindcrime live in 2004, however I hadn't known the band before! They opened up for Judas Priest, and to be frank, they stole a bit of the show from Priest:) That was the best concert I have ever seen, QR and JP together! That was more than music!

  • @MrAttila1987 I saw them on that tour as well. They were really amazing. Tate's tenor voice was really amazing to hear live. He's got a really awesome technique.

  • Yeah Wisconsin!! We are never shown. =)

  • OH WOW!

  • @ 1:28 just gotta LOVE Curly and Moe hahaha...wonder where the third "stoodge" is?? nah seriously....IMBAH preformance...wish i had been there! //Swede

  • Can someone please tell me who is who in this clip?

I know it begins with Geoff Tate.

But who is at :27 and who is at 1:13?

    Thank you!

  • 0:27 - Chris ''The Legend'' DeGarmo

    1:13 - Eddie ''EdBass'' Jackson

  • @GarminUser23 Jeff Tate, Chris DeGarmo, Michael Wilton, Scott Rockenfield, Eddie Jackon

  • I absolutely love this song. Great band at their absolute heyday. I just wonder how much this live performance has been edited for the DVD. It just sounds too perfect...

  • It doesnt, seem very edited, if it was Geoff would have gone for the really high parts in the chorus.

  • You are presumably right. Great performance nonetheless.

  • epic

  • This Operation live Crime is one of the very best Concert videos ever made by it´s idea and everything. QR plays the whole Mindcrime album in veryyy epic way here in 2 concerts and oh man U got to love this. The story here is one heck of a mindbreaker too =) Will someone ever make shit like this, I don´t think so. Raise Your glasses to QR and for everything they´ve ever made =)

  • This version of the song is SO hardcore, just gotta love it!!!<3

  • At that time 'Ryche had big stages and big audiences... second only to Iron Maiden,Metallica and Black Sabbath into the Heavy Metal scene.

  • and Priest

  • the greatest metal band ever. this is the thinking man's metal band. style articulation and brilliant musicianship queensryche is the best.

  • Unbelievable, they were Gods and they still are Gods!

  • This brings back so many memories. Thank you so much for sharing!

  • Tate is fucking God

  • @cristianrockstar Does God's butt get sore, or is He above that?

  • @Burnwash well, honestly I'm not looking his butt :P

  • @cristianrockstar Yep.....if God had a voice it'd be Tate, if Devil had a voice it'd be Dio........

  • @cristianrockstar hell yah man! Geoff Tate and Bruce Dickinson are the greatests singers of all time! and their voices are as good today as ever!

  • The tightest Live band EVER!!!!!!! BAR-NONE!!!!

  • This is the only song I'm familar with from this band, although I have heard of them before, found this song on Metal Mania on VH1 Classic, I really like it. The singer puts emotion behind his performance.

  • You need to listen to some of their other albums: The Self-Titled EP, Rage For Order, The Warning, and Empire have some of this band's best songs. The Promised Land album is supposed to be good, but I'm not familiar with any of the songs on it.

Also, listen to the rest of LIVECrime. No comparison between this and the studio version.

  • This is the greatest song ever written

  • Great old times

  • DeGarmo is a guitar god!

  • the beginning is awesome when hes like is there anybody in the madison wisconsin that believes in love, then hes like well i dont and walks away in slow motion

  • yeah thanks for explaining what i just watched and clearly understood...

  • well do you think geoff is awesome

  • queensryche is the bomb

  • wow, they are so good live, lots of bands suck live, live version sounds just like studio, amazing!

  • One of the best rock-shows ever! There wont be anything like QR.

  • If there is a God above, bring DeGarmo back! Please! Please! Please! Before I go insane! If he came back that would be the biggest event in rock history for me personally! Come on, someone's gotta hear the prayers up there!

  • Some how I don't think that is big on God's list. But..I know how you feel. Having Chris come back would be answered prayer.

  • LOL! Man oh man, how that would be a beautiful reunion!

  • no words for this song. thank you queensryche!!

  • thats the same kit scott had at donnington

  • Thanks for putting this back on. Great song from a GREAT album.
